If you listen carefully, you can see that this mother has completely lost her mind, as the stress of caring for autistic kids -- a real challenge -- simply caused her to crack-up. Given the severity of her mental illness, someone must have seen symptoms -- but didn't intervene. Tragic.

I used to believe the Iraq war was justified but that was a lie. The media spins a story to get a certain type of reaction from the public. Respite care is the best option but the state would have to fund this; support for parents of disabled children is way down the list of priorities for most politicians.

Schools, Community organizations and parents are not doing enough to help kids with Autism and their parents. That really needs to change about America. This news report didn't go into detail about her motive, but it seems to me that she didn't have any help whatsoever. I do hope they lock her up for the rest of her life, and that people try to help these kids so we can prevent something like this from happening again.
