The middle 8 is kind of like the Delaware version, and 3:05 onwards still sounds better than Murray Gold's versions.

What kinda sucks is the fact that they don't include Colin Baker in their opening montage. Didn't he start out with Howell's version?

What I'm saying is that they didn't add Colin Baker's opening/closing to the video, even though he started out with Howell's version before switching to Glynn's version when the "Trial Of A Time Lord" arc started.

the first middle 8 was flat and the second one was just screwed up. other than that a pretty good performance of a classic theme...woah woah woah whats this? i love that metal section! its great!

The newer theme would have worked really well if Doctor Who continued into 1990! Some one really should edit some titles for it (maybe even me!)

It was a special arrangement for playing live at this concert. A unique performance never heard elsewhere.

@johnmiic I don't think that version's ever been played anywhere else. It does seem, though, to owe a lot to the late-Eighties version of the theme by Keff McCulloch.

Shame they didn't use the Original Derbyshire theme. Peter's rendition was always too 'funky' for my liking. Completely took away the Haunting, eerie aspect of it.
