Well, from what I've gathered, I don't think they initially liked them. They had no involvement with this cartoon. But some of the people that worked on these cartoons went on to work on the Beatles film 'Yellow Submarine', which the Beatles liked very much. I think in their later years, the Beatles grew to accept these cartoons, and I found quotes by John and George who basically described them as 'amusing'.
