  • ever heard of uninstall a program search it in the "search programs and files" menu

  • The debate with Macintosh vs. Windows is very simular to religious debates. They never get anywhere. neither side changes their mind, and everybody ends up getting angry.

  • Windows Vista Crash = BSoD

Mac OS X = SPioD, Kernel Panic, Attention grey little box to press restart button?!?.

  • @DEVOXxCANADAxX do you realize most of your reasons he just went over on the video?

  • I haven't lost a program I really cared about because the compatibility has increased to insane methods, and also improved methods for getting 16 bit programs.

  • Win7

    1. Compatibility with software/games from older windows (outside system management type)

    2. More USEFUL user forums dealing problems.

    3. Open Development for software

    4. Gamer friendly environment with Direct X & Open GL, and Newer GPU utilization methods.

    5. Easier to update/replace hardware without voiding the warranty outright.

also a note, Mac since OSx has been Service packs (good ones) and charges you for them, then has the balls to call them a different OS.

  • I work at a computer repair place and we get macs all the time. Why are people so dumb?

  • You want your 5 reasons why i rather use windows then mac? I have been using windows since MS-DoS 1.0 Black & White, well the monitor was black and white lol. But here it is!

    1) Software Compatibility

    2) More Reliable For Company Users (don't be leave go to any store near you and ask what OS is that...They will say windows XP because it crosses back to number 1 reason.

    3) Cross Platform On every Computer

    4) Simple to run

    5) Cheaper then a mac computer with more on it!

    6) DMG to CDPT Install

  • its not the operating system that makes the software run great! its the hardware within the computer! icanse you havent noticed but the operating system doesnt give the computer any boost in speed! it may slow it down but it absolutely does not boost it!

  • @CnfedrateSh4d0w Actually, the way the hardware runs is determined by how the O.S. runs it. You have this completely backwards. Hardware is only as good as the software it utilizes. For example, you can put 8 GBs of ram in a 32-bit version of XP and it will only show 3gbs of ram because the O.S. doesn't recognize it. See what I'm saying'. Also, a high end graphics card will only work to capacity if the drivers (software) are installed.

  • @TheMasterofganja Not entirely true. Actually any 32-bit OS will recognize 4 at max. This isn't a software issue. A 32-bit processor can only use 4 gigs of RAM. A 64-bit OS can recognize as much as it is programmed to, because I think a 64-bit processor can recognize some absurd like 16 exabytes of RAM. But if you put a 32-Bit OS with a 64-Bit processor it will still only recognize 4 gigs because it is programed to run only 4 gigs

  • @VinylRhapsody Hate to tell you this, but you are mistaken. Microsoft has never really explained "why" there is a 4gig limit for consumer editions of Windows. It is actually a licensing feature. If you look at the official Windows Memory Limit, you'll see Server 2003 Datacenter (32bit OS!!) has a big limit of 128GB of Ram. Server 2003 Enterprise has a 32gb limit, and it is indeed a 32bit OS. It's not hardware issues at all, it's MS's licensing.

  • @Skyscraper446 Maybe that's true for the software, but the physic hardware can not. 2^32 (for a 32 bit processor) is equal to 4,294,967,296 which is what 4 gigs would be, 2^64 (for a 64 bit processor) is 18,446,744,073,709,551,616 which is what 18 exabytes would be.

  • @VinylRhapsody Not trying to argue here, but then how was I able to use up 5 gigs of ram on Server 2003 Ent. with paging disabled? Again, this is a 32-bit OS. System Properties addresses 4.74GB on Server 2003, Windows 7 x64 addresses 4.98GB. Take a read at this, it's pretty good info:

  • Vista is better the Mac os because it pisses me off more lol

  • why the hell is it so interesting to talk to a stupid nobody, and especially hearing to the shit comes out of his mouth. I hate mac, but vista is total shit.

  • Macs can get a virus, but since nobody uses a mac there aren't as many virus as a PC

  • i know you will say you've never got an error on a pc , but just say it cause i don't think you don't

  • what can i say , i had a lot of computers ... xp , vista , an old pc form windows , and now a mac , but i am , or at least i was an pc owner , i thought everything is 0 , but not pc , now i have mac for like 2 , 3 months and i can say i had a much much better time on XP then on Vista , but on mac i had not a single error , or virus , on vista every game crashed with the error ,, something.exe stopped working" and that pissed me off so now i'm a mac user but i think Xp is one of the best windows

  • Ok PC: More popular, traditional, and cheaper.

    Mac: Neater,won't get a virus,and is newer.

There those are reasons for both computers...

  • Ok PC: More popular, traditional, and cheaper.

    Mac: Neater,won't get a virus,and is newer.

    There those are reasons...

  • ROFL!

    "Vista is safer"

    BAHAHAHAHA

  • Hey dude... wats up... I think that windows sucks but i dont have the need of posting videos telling the world about it. people buy what they want, you use yours.

  • When are you going to get a better camera?

  • Apple Hater....

  • windows 7 is better than os x and i have experiance

  • @kris10ish Yeaaaaa....ok

  • @sirlinkyalot it is WAY WAY BETTER but im a gamer an i like xbox and pc

  • "i met a lot of smug - you wanna punch them in the throat - smug apple users" LOL

  • OSX doesn't allow the user to turn off the paging file. That's one reason to completely avoid OSX. Looking up paging/swap file.

This might explain why all my failed hard drives have done so in a Mac. The paging file is constantly writing to the disk.

  • Ubuntu 10.10 beats them all!!

  • vista is worse than mac but windows 7 beats them all

plus i have a gaming pc wich has better graphics than mac and cheaper beat that dadio and if a mac was a gaming mac it would be more exspensive than normal gaming pc so thats not a point

  • Sorry Chris, but you have NOOOO idea what your talking about here. Your arguments against his 5 points are just as invalid as his 5 points.

I can buy a gaming computer for $500 and it will run the newest call of duty just fine on medium graphics. Throw in a $150 graphics card that will handle highest graphics and you have a $650 gaming computer.

The cheapest imac desktop on the apple dot com website right now is $1200, cheapest notebook, $999 (geforce 330m LAWL)

  • its cool where you live man....wish i had that wheather

  • ubuntu linux ftw XD

  • thats were windows 7 comes in:)

  • "you can buy a mac for a hell lot cheaper than a gaming pc"

    >pause the video

    >close the browser

    >shutdown the pc

    >exit my room

    >open the door

    >get on the floor

    >everybody walk the dinosaur

  • 7 ALL THE WAY!

  • It makes us sad to see you sad

  • 10:28 marty macfly? :O

  • I disagree on cost , try buying a new MAC for under $500 You can't do it! It doesn't exist! But Vista does suck bad I will admit that!

  • fag

  • Throughout this video the time on the live stream never changed?

  • I'd love to use Linux but the problem with open software is it's just that much harder to get things working and to get good support. Windows 7 honestly works fine, dispite the fact that I'd love to love Linux.

  • @RJTamm93

I really have the same feeling here. Linux is nice but life is too short for it. I might move on to Mac.

  • @RJTamm93 That's why someone needs to Linux and make a closed source company out of it. Without the money, there is no competition. There is no drive for Linux to become better other than the few developers that wish to make Linux better. That would make Linux a SERIOUS contender. Wasted potential for Linux...

  • @RJTamm93 Not really aslong as you know terminal and sudo commands also tty commands it is easy to use.

  • @RJTamm93 Wow, dude, i couldnt have said it better :D

  • I choose to use windows(7) because of the software choice. Sure, i could probably get by on a mac, but there are just the odd one or two programs that i would not want to go without. (nothing that i use every day, but just all the small utilities)

and plus i am a gamer, and because of this i like to build my own systems. The build it yourself market is geared more towards the pc, and i can choose what company makes my parts. ordering from apple, the motherboards, videocards, etc are all apple...

  • Vista Is better because its not propertary like OS X.

  • Linux > 7 + XP > Vista > Mac

  • @elel70 obvious troll is obvious

  • @OhYouIFancyHuh Obvious Mac fag is obvious.

  • @elel70 seriously? linux? fucking jew

  • That's just racist

  • @coolguy77797 Jew isn't a race its a religion.

  • @OhYouIFancyHuh Well Windows > Linux > Mac

  • @elel70

That always depends on what you want and what you want to do with your OS.

  • I actually thank Windows Vista for making me jump ship to a Mac... I bought this not-too-cheap HP notebook with Vista in '08 and it SUCKED -- so I got a Macboiok 6 months later.

  • No matter what, Vista was trash, Win 7 is WIN :)

  • i know this is really old, i hope your not still this stupid.

  • "As a power user" ...

Yeah, right. You couldn't even get Vista to work properly. Some power user ...

  • @XSaenen vista fails so fucking hard, atleast, in laptops it does, my dad owns vista on a pc and i must say its not that bad, but i have a macbook pro and an old laptop with vista and vista sucks balls on that one, i heard that more, on laptops it sucks hard

  • @bramnokia running it both on a gaming rig and on a $200 netbook myself, and the netbook is faster on Vista than it was on XP Pro. That's a 1.6GHz CPU and 1GB DDR2 533. Not exactly what you'd call stellar specs. No problems here tho. If you set it up right, it just works.

  • Good Luck, Linux is Better Than Vista!

  • @bullettotheboard that's true I use it too and no viruses and no problems my dad uses it and he can't even find the on switch to the computer it's that easy but there is not that many drivers for wireless g b and n adapters.

  • Micro$oft continuing the tradition of providing lousy and inferior software: Windoz 95 – a joke, Windoz 98 – LOL, Windoz XP – eXtra Problems, Windoz – Vista downright sad and pathetic (Very Insecure Software Try Apple) , Windoz 7 …the tradition continues.

  • Vista isn't that bad, I have it and it's fine for me.

  • @SharkyRocks720 your one of the few. vista probaby would be a good operating system, if it worked flawlessly on most hardware, although it doesnt for most people.

  • i would love to try a mac, i have tried to install OSX 86 but it went wrong

  • @stub223 dont it sucks

  • More software means more flavours,

"hmm... I don't like this bar right here, what? The one made by *insert a company name here* doesn't have it? Well, I'll uninstall and get that one :D"

  • At 6:40, I beg to differ on that.

Mac is in fact way more expensive, your gaming pc's run around 800$ that's for some of your top notch gaming. Mac's standard pc is 700-900$ that is half the system specifications of those on a gaming pc.

    Windows ftw :D

  • This bamboo plant... is safer.

  • I think pc is better than mac because more customization but hey it all depends on the person i like gaming and mac is not that great on gaming (yet) if you like it all coming together go ahead buy a mac but if you like geting in you computer knowing what your doing upgrading to a better faster computer than i suggest pc......im not trying to say that pc beats out mac and is superior all im saying is that it all depends on the person mabye people think that vista is better OS X thats there opin

  • @q147963147963 That's what the whole Mac vs PC argument is. People who have something that's better for them and trying to force people to think that it's better for EVERYONE. The Mac Pro right now could be good for gaming even though the base model has Xeons in it. (It has a 5770) The iMac could work for light gaming. I can see your point though. I do a lot of different things so I got a Mac to have OS X and Windows on the same machine instead of having 2 computers.

  • Thumbs up if You watched the whole video!!

  • @Paraclete333 i had to thumbs down becuse i wont

  • @kris10ish I DIDN'T SAY "THUMBS DOWN IF YOU DIDN'T WATCH THE WHOLE VIDEO!!".

  • @KOOLANCE720 SHITTY MAC SUCKS!

  • @AppleMacGeek14 thats a good joke. i almost thought you were serious when you said that teh underpowered, overpriced, overhyped, peice of shit mac was better than the cheaper, more powerful, useful, overall better system that the windows is

  • yea you clearly stated the best reason there that the mac osx is made for the almost one mac type and that makes it run smooth and almost never have problems. btw windows you lost heaps of people with vista but 7... now theres an os!

  • wow i used to like you, but your a fuck tard

  • For casual use, Mac all the way.

    For serious stuff.... Windows time.

  • windows sucks, like u dude

  • BAMBOO OS FTW!

  • Macs don't suck, Mac users do.

  • Gaming you can game on vista sure mac can game too but vista has a larger amount of games.

  • The price for a mac is not the same as a pc's. maybe if you compare alienware to apple. alienware would still be way better. macs aren't really gaming machines. they have good hardware but they just don't have the best hardware there is. pc's can run games way better than a mac. pcs have a better price/ performance ratio. im not a mac hater, its just that when it comes to price and gaming capabilities, pc's are better.

  • @MrKoenigseggccx OK so lets compare it to the old iMac. How much is a 20 inch IPS type LCD screen, AND all of the hardware? (The last I checked, the screen was worth about as much as the machine.) True, when it comes to price and GAMING it's better, but not when it comes to what they were originally designed to be used for.

  • @MrKoenigseggccx You need the best possible hardware to run a game? Very informative, if you don't know that even apple computers can be tweaked with instructions on the apple and community websites to be fantastic gaming machines, running windows if want.

  • I prefer OSX to Windows because its more simple and accessible than windows but I prefer Windows over OSX because of the wider range of games available. Although Steam is on OSX now and things will only get better as sales rocketed when Steam opened for OSX. Allot of my friends are like Preston is this retrospect, they say all this shit and they have no perspective over OS's and other tech related stuff, they just say what they use is good and every thing else is bad.

  • Did you guys know that Steve Jobs use to be a programmer at Atari in 1976 (before the business men degraded the programmers and crumbled Atari)

  • Now that comment he made about halfway through about Mac OSX having more games than a Windows based Box is 100% False. there will always be more game games written for the windows platform. and because of that reason if you ask any online gamer what kind of computer they run, they will tell you 9 times out of 10 they run a Windows Rig.

I really hate how arrogant Mac people are, they think because macs are the first choice for design professionals that , that crosses over to gaming.

  • Windows 7 ftw.

  • I've been a Windows user all my life. I now use Mac for My O/S and Windows for gaming. Mac is just so much smoother and faster.

  • OSX>Vista

    7>OSX

  • nerd ANGER!!!!!

  • How is it not about the cost? the cost is a huge part. I build my PC's and only use decent high-end parts and I can assure you, It's a hell of a lot cheaper than a mac anywhere near the same specs.

Also, it's a well known fact, a computer, any computer is only as good as it's user. If you're a dumb-down human being you're gonna break either OS, if you know what your doing you're gonna make either OS work beautifully.

  • windows for games, osx for surfing porn

  • Of course a gaming PC is going to be more expensive than a mac. Apple simply doesn't sell anything which is more than HALF as powerfull as most serious gaming PCs.

  • Windows 7. Nothing left to say.

  • @AnAsian2010 Windows 7 should have been vista so you are soooo behind in terms of snow leopard

  • @WonderIGaming to bad no1 gives a shit about macs or you would have a good argument.

Windows 7. Nothing left to say.

  • @AnAsian2010 ha ha. considering apple makes more money per quarter i think people do.

  • @WonderIGaming ha ha. considering about 80% of the market uses pcs.

  • @AnAsian2010

80% of the PUBLIC uses windows, and 19% for mac isn't so bad. about 85% of non-PCs run linux.

people need to realize that today, apple targets a specific group of people. they don't cater to everyone and therefore people will give invalid arguments about they suck. apple does NOT care about games that much. so to them, its not a problem that it can't game. windows is designed for the general public and that shows. but, windows isn't the best choice for everything, hence mac/linux

  • @AnAsian2010 win 7 is WAY better, but still not up to the quality of OSX. to get better Win 7 has been designed more similar to OSX.

I can't fault Win 7 though. it's more a matter of preference nowadays.

  • @AnAsian2010 lmao ignorant asian

  • @AnAsian2010 this is windows retardation 100% pure. the points discussed in this video, apply to w7 just as much as they did to vista. w7 it's still windows, still the same old shit with some glass over it.

  • @crashnoww And in the REAL world, w7 is faster, more user-friendly, and comfortable. I could have downloaded a game, checked my email, and posted this comment before Vista had even opened Firefox! Windows 7 has more features that I enjoy, even the little things, like the button at the bottom right that takes you to your desktop, and changing the color of your task-bar and that there is more room on the task-bar. I have 2 computers with each operating systems running at their best. See?

  • @TheNumeroid see what? that u are just as stupid as the last guy? w7 did not change ANY of the 5 points discussed in this video. w7 may be better than vista, but it's not a radical change. saying: "windows 7, nothing left to say", while w7 didn't change the terms in this video is just retarded. i know that for u, windows users, w7 it's a nice update, for us, mac users, w7 it's just another 10 years old OS. so don't brag about nothing.

  • @crashnoww I never said it was better than Mac, if I could get a Mac right now then I would. But I'm trying to point out that these operating systems have there own special features and abilities.

  • @TheNumeroid their*

  • @TheNumeroid u stil don't get the point. "windows 7. nothing left to say" is like saying "ya, but with w7 everything changed, the discussion in this video is no more a valid one, ergo w7 it's better than os x " which is simply not true. if u replace the word "vista" with "w7", in this video, it will be exactly the same thing. that it's called "windows retardation". that wintard clearly never used os x before and it's clamming something without any kind of knowledge on the matter. "See?"

  • @crashnoww I do get the point, talking about knowledge on the matter... I'm just saying that Windows 7 is a great improvement when compared to Vista.

  • @crashnoww says the mac user that has no idea what they are talking about. use a real response please next time, not just an apple fanboy one. k thx bai

  • @AnAsian2010 I never liked any mac system Lol never could understand the format it uses also im a gamer so pcs win right there in my opinion

  • love how he says that cause you can't do anything on a mac it's more stable

yes i might have worded that differently

stable? man fuck it if you can do nothing on the said operating system

  • @AnAsian2010 Man you're right. I Think that with W7 is the right response to Mac OS. I have on my pc from almost a year and i never had problems with my pc, unless a video card problem, but it was an hardware thing, i replaced it, and everithing is ok. I don't know why people say that w7 is behind OSX, i think that they're on the same level.

PS Vista sucks, but 7 rulez

  • @AnAsian2010 Mac OS X + bootcamp, nothing left to say.

  • @juuonse But then how will I use my Intel Core 980x 3.3Ghz? and my ATi Radeon HD 5970 with 4GB of dedicated ram possibly in Crossfire?

  • @juuonse Mac OS X, still less popular globally. nothing left to say

  • @AnAsian2010 argument ad populum. nothing left to say.

  • @AnAsian2010 bahaha so true

  • Comment removed

  • @SCAREDBANANA if its made in the last few years and isnt used by an idiot they should be smooth

  • @SCAREDBANANA I hate it. I have had many hands on with mac and its terrible

  • @SCAREDBANANA they are i switched from windows about 3 months ago and i love mac os X its so fucking smooth and clean and fast love it MAC OS X FTW!!!!!!!

  • @SCAREDBANANA The only thing that slowed down on my Mac after almost 3 years (if not longer) was the login speed and even that is faster than Windows on the same machine.

  • @SCAREDBANANA They are...I have had two Mac's with NO issues and it's just as fast as the day I bought it! Let's see ANY Windows computer do that...

  • @SCAREDBANANA yeah it might be able to run tetris if you pour in the 25k..

  • @AnAsian2010 I like pc more than macs as well but macs ain´t that useless.

  • @AnAsian2010 BAHHAHHA omg i love you

  • @SCAREDBANANA Don't know if I replied to this before or not but the only thing on mine that slowed down was logging in. That was still faster than most other computers I've used so I would say it's as smooth as people say.

  • @SCAREDBANANA it is- until the warranty expires ;)

  • @SCAREDBANANA its not its trash

  • @SCAREDBANANA ohhh man.... u have no idea bro

  • @SCAREDBANANA it is just my opinion. The learning curve for basics (email, browsers, etc etc etc) is very easy. Only thing that I have not learned is that Mac Office Excel (which I need to use often). Therefore I'm running Windows 7 with MS Office + games on bootcamp and using OSX for everything else. The mac just...works better than windows 7 to my likings.

  • @juuonse Of course you realize Microsoft is a software company and could careless what hardware you choose to run its software on. Either way, you bought their product and therefore they win.

  • @gregchips2390 eh...Microsoft wouldn't care if everyone would change into macintosh hardware?....I somehow doubt that. Well they might win, but I at no point was talking about "winning". I was talking about how idiotic it is to keep saying that macs can't go gaming.

  • @juuonse Let me break this down for you, you seem kinda slow (you are a Mac user). Macs are horrible for gaming because a) they're extremely over priced therefore the rig you're getting is weak and b) its native software is not designed in mind to play games. Not to mention c) you gotta be a complete moron to buy a Mac in the first place so why buy a game you're undoubtedly going to lose at? Microsoft is a software* company ergo they want you to buy* their software*.

  • @gregchips2390 At what point did I say I bought my mac for Gaming? The question here was whether you CAN play with it all the games that you can play with a PC. And I love your ad hom arguments. Keep up the good work =). Secondly, If you consider a stable, good, working, in every way enjoyable computer experience over priced then well that's your opinion. If you look at only the stats then yes, for the same price you might get a more powerful computer. But look at a gaming computer, I bet it's

  • @gregchips2390 far more expensive than a mac. So your argument is invalid from two perspectives already. And lastly, your c) is your opinion. I doubt you've ever used a mac for more than a few minutes/hours which really doesn't give you any credentials to make an unbiased judgement. Nor am I claiming that mine would be unbiased either. So maybe you should think about what you say before making urself look like a complete idiot by making arguments from ignorance & ad hominems. Cheers

  • @juuonse ya a gaming pc might be the same price as a mac, but why not build it yourself for 1/4th the price of a mac with 8 times the performance.

What do you replace on a pc when a part needs to be upgraded or fails?

    the part

What do you replace in the same situation on a mac?

    the entire fucking mac

  • @randomPRO9 actually there are quite a few parts (pretty much all of them) that can be replaced. Admittedly maybe not by the average user. But then again, not too many average user know how to upgrade for instance the memory in a PC (which is a actually easier in a mac) nor other parts. But anyway, yes, some parts are harder to replace like the isight but it's the same thing with a laptop with a built-in camera. And your example is grossly exaggerated.

  • I think people are missing the point here, any and every OS has safety issues, point me out to one that doesn't . Vista isn't perfect but neither is Mac OSX. In my opinion Vista has more utilities running hence the use of 1 full gig of ram required for it. Mac OSX is very plug and play friendly. But then again this video is biased because Chris has a Mac.

Some people are indeed fanboys, the worst being Apple.

  • More applications on Windows mean nothing just like more apps on iphone means nothing.

  • why apple is so proud of the amount of software in there store for the iphone, when software is no argument? Software is the only argument!

    think about it!

  • vista sucks ass.

  • That is what I always say, dollar x dollar PC is way better than a MAC, lets not talk about desktop computers, because there is nothing nothing to do ... And if you add games to that, man, how can you use those half toys computer, my PC almost NEVER crashes when its porperly format and clean. On top of that, how is it that running 90 % of the software in the market is NOT a reason ? If not use Linux, but like... Macs are not full capacity computers.

  • I don't believe you,

But i can believe that Windows 7 is better,

but not Vista, VISTA IS AAAAAAAS!

    But still love Microsoft :D

  • one reason is you do get more bang for your buck as far as spacs anyway I for one do not what to pay 1999.00 for a computer when pay 500 or so and get all I need and I fix my own pcs anyway I may one day get get a mac buy not now but than again I've been been told that you can instill os x on a pc anyway not sure if that's true or not but lest if that is true that's something I may do

  • windows cant beat mac because mac allows vista on it yet vista doesn't allow mac on it.

  • @KOOLANCE720

Go ahead and try you little niggerfaggot, I'm giving you permission, what's that, you can't? Baww, you little fucking scrub. 1. I use VPN you anal cunt, 2. I live in an apartment. 3. I don't have a home phone number, 4. I can't get viruses on Debian. 5. I don't use a modem, I'm LAN cable'd hard in. 6. My internet simply resets when DoS'd. 7. you're a faggot nigger scriptkiddy and can't hack for shit

Go ahead bitch, try. Good luck.

  • As a Linux user as well as Windows user I am disappointed in the journalists points. Windows Vista was an entirely different software code architecture for Windows on which Windows 7 would be based on. They originally thought the OEM user panels would prevent viruses and didn't. I still prefer Linux distros and windows XP. Debate it, but for what I do on my PC it is the best OS set for me.

  • @KOOLANCE720

You're too much of a dipshit to configure hardware, enjoy your little toy computer.

  • i can;t give you 1 reason vista is better than osx but i can give you 5 resons windows 7 is better. 1. gaming 2. can run on any pc not just an apple computer. 3. you can auto change desktop backgrounds without installing any apps 4. it is cheaper to buy a new pc if yours breaks 5. there are versions like home, ultimate, ect.. depending on what you need.

  • I think something Vista has over Mac is that schools use Windows. My school even runs Windows Vista. Microsoft has bought its way into the educational plans. I know, it has nothing to with the operating system itself, and I don't mean that it's "better than OS X", I'm just saying that it's a reason to get it, you know? Parents get Vista, because their school gets Vista. It is for educational purposes. They can learn a lot more from Max OS imho, but it's the ministry of education that decides.

  • Are you running Mac OS X and windows Xp on one computer? I just saw a window with XP and Mac OS X on the background.

  • Yeah, I agree with this video, in my opinion I don't think there should be fan boys, there should be only people that use what they like, not being an ass and giving bull-crap excuses as to why you should use a certain OS, the only thing I can say is that Different OS's are for different things, you should choose the OS that is capable of supporting all of your computer needs, and do it in a stable environment. Wow, I'm almost out of space, bye.

  • On a SUPERFICIAL level Macs are more expensive; but when you factor in how secure the OS is, how useful the software is out of the box, and a load of other things, a Mac is actually cheaper. Upon buying a Mac, immediately everything is useful to you. Buy a Windows and you are bombarded with bullshit bloatware, and rampant instability. Shit I've been through 6 laptops within 3 years (two of which were windows 7 PCs). None could fluently run the programs I needed to use.

  • Vista felt way to restrictive, it definietly wasn't better than OSX. But Windows 7 is a match, if not a little bit better than Snow Leopard. I honestly love both and know how to use both very well :D

  • macs are too expensive i could get 2 $500 dell laptops for the price of a bottom line macbook.

  • @Dell0304

the mac would be faster than the dells together

  • @v4lkyr thats what you think fanboy.
