I can't believe they killed him off, but I heard they brought him because the writers feared for their lives, because of all the Carson fans( I was one of them!)
I know what you mean, i remember watching the episode and not only being shocked but in tears. Carson was awesome and he really put a smile on everybody through-out that show. Shame it was to lose him and I miss him on the show heaps :(
