Très bon souvenir de cet Olympia, car j'y étais. Avec Kathie Melua quelques jours après, j'ai été comblé. Puis les concerts de Leonard Cohen au mois de novembre... que du bonheur!

and well, madi seems to have real problems towards the audience in her shows. she came to brazil twice in the last few years, and many have complained about this "lack of connection". but, in my humble opinion, she is the one of the greatest jazz singers nowadays, and I wouldn't care a bit if she weren't in her best mood. :)

the way you described her concerts, she sounds dead and boring, but i still like her music anyway. i wouldn't go to see her live, though.

I am glad you loved.. Sadly she is a very boring concert. Moody does not connect with the audience. I felt like I was crashing her boudoir without a welcome. The recordings is the only way to enjoy Miss Peyroux.

First she was an hour late (rumours said a backstage tantrum) then she completely ignored the audience. It was like a rehearsal and we the audience we simply not there. Steven

When I wrote about this Madeleine's problem, in another video, somebody told that she is extremely shy. Maybe, but in an interview, when the reporter asked about her tantrums in backstages, after deny, she answered that if it happens is because she drinks a lot of coffee. Lets make a campaign for cut Madi's coffee and make her audience happy... But her music, even in shows, is pretty good.
