That can't becouse he has Independent trucks there and Independent is from 1978

Maybe you thought it becouse he told that he was at a contest in Kona in 1977 in his book :) This is another one
yeah indeed, i googeled for 'kona park rodney mullen', i thought this had to be the '77 one, but now u mention it, this is just a practise session, not a contest.
Rodney is my Hero!!!!
