  • very nice job .any sealer will do the trick or you use one in particular

  • @mrsawdust09 --- for exterior log benches and picnic tables I like to use one of the products we used to put on our log homes...SuperDeck. It holds up well and doesn't break the bank...Thanks for watching!

  • what grits of sandpaper do you use?

  • @MrBigdare --- Usually start out with a 40 grit to knock down the heavy chainsaw gouges...Then I use the 80 grit before moving to the belt sander where I use a 120 grit...Makes for some real smooth picnic tables and benches!

  • Very nice! Cant wait to check back and see the finished product.

  • @nanoc22 Thanks for stopping by..! If you like what you see now, there's more on the way, so be sure keep watching.

  • well done it looks great.

  • @camochannel1 Yep, the sealer really brings out the color in this beetle kill pine...See you again next week!

  • A labor of love eh Mitchell?

  • @FRUNTCASTER Yeah buddy, you can say that again! You'll know it for sure when you see the finished tables, they are real nice.
