  • You wanna at least leave yourself an 8-12ms pad between some drum hits to maintain the "Human feel" as a Drummer never plays every note exactly in time, or at the same volume. Your tracks will sound better with this logical approach.

  • How do you Record tutorials what software? I wanna upload tutorials and teach too :) I have Cam-studio, but just cant figure out how to use it with Protools.

  • The 1st part of your question is a yes. The 2nd part is a no. It's not just the kick hit markers it's the snare hits that don't actually fall on the kick that are used too. Look close at how I'm using "Collection Mode" around :45 sec. They are added to the "pool" of transients.

  • hey, so when you do this you cut and conform your drum regions as a group yes? and you use your kick transient hit markers for the rest of the tracks in the group?
