The 334 series loco is I would say 'cousin' of your class 67. They both have been built in Vossloh factory in Valencia (Spain) and they both share the same EMD V12 710 engine, alternator, traction motors, bogies and top speed of 200km/h (125mph).

The train it is hauling is a Talgo train. They are very light and its height is very low, as you say. I'm glad you liked the video. I also like a lot your class 66 and class 67 locomotives.

Hay veces que a las caracolas les cuesta mucho arrancar... Cuando fui a Medina del Campo, iba con unos 18 coches Talgo y tardaba lo suyo.

Hola Gustavo, la razón es que la línea Madrid-Almeria tiene un pequeño tramo en Andalucia (entre Linares-Baeza y Huéneja) que no está electrificado.
