@eagle120196 Earliest armour with the skill is the Death stench armour. you can get the materials by sending Trenya to the desert and farming Kushala Daora

I found that a gunlance with gurad up skill is the easiest way I killed 8 village tigrex with imperial gunlance and hermitaur

im not very far in mhf2, and i use melee but sometimes use bow/gun. and you obviesly used loading skill, right? well does loading skill do anything to bows?

nope most likely not because bows have infinite ammo already without reloading

what do you mean? the bow's fourth charge level varies from each bow... and bows doesn't have to reload... only has to reload coating

haha thats not how it works...I don't blame you though I used to think the same exact thing. In MHFU there is a whole new level called Grank(HR7-HR9). The armors made from Grank monsters will give you X and Z armor series. So Grank bug materials makes Butterfly X.

diablos scream cant be evaded,cuz it's long.use shield if you are going to hbg him.or block his scream.

i'm gonna use bow or light bowgun due to speed, i'm just gonna be a scaredy cat and hide behind the rock pillar on area 7 and 5 (near the entrance to area 9 u can hit him even if ur behind the pillar and he can't hit u, climb on the ledge on area 3 and 9

use heavy bowgun,take 15 flashes and shoot using pellets lvl3.take sm bone husk and wyvern claw to make them during the mission.and aim at his tail.

That's quite the armor combination.

I'm still trying to figure out which is stronger between the HBG and the Bow.

I can get more shots in with bow, so I think it kills faster but I'm not quite convinced.

Mainly because the bow is my main weap and I'm pretty average with everything else.

Hence, why I'm looking at ur vids. Maybe in time I'll find the answer.

bows are weak, hbg are WAY stronger especially with speedfire ;)

I've done a lot of experimenting with the other weaps and found that I can kill most things faster with the bow and the hammer.

Guess I'll just have to quit sucking with the other weapons.

Yea, I understand. It just a HBG guide to teaching HBG vs tigrex techniques. Anyway, it was harder than using hammer, GS or LS. If you don't believe me, you should go to try it.

There is no evade+3 in this game. The timing must be accurate when evade.

Yup its speed fire, if you had a look at SoC, they have a very good hbg armour set... naruga X with blango gemmed for speed fire :D

You underestimate the difficulty of guns...I use Hammers and GSs pretty much exclusively, but I really admire gunners.

but bowgun can fire up to 5 consecutive shots if it has rapid fire. for example, sandfall bowgun. if you load it with nomal s lv.2, in just one bullet it will fire 5 times. the limit for the bullet will be 99x5 and faster than ever. the power is more as powerful as full-charged hammmer!!!!

3.) Sniping? even the high powered HBGs with pierce ammo only go like 25 feet.. pretty dumb sniper rifles but thats how they work. And who uses a hammer? Who are you Thor?

@BigBadDaddy0 I think they really underpowered the Rathalos and Rathian in the Portable version. As for the Tigrex. Hes only dangerous cuz he takes up the whole map and can turn mid run.
