  • soprano soloist brought tears

  • The last time I heard this arrangement was at my friend's funeral. He was only 16 years old and I miss him everyday. This video brought me to tears. You all did a fantastic job.

  • remember, we as fellows of the human species have always overcome each and every troubled water. We're going through thick now, but just stand by each other, hold your hands and stick to your inner power and your beloved ones. It'll be over soon.

  • Nice work! Can you tell me who arranged this version?

  • @Yumichan1024

Das Arrangement stammt von Kirby Shaw!

  • amazing beginning. very powerful and then the rest was awesome to.

  • your choir members must be so dedicated! They show it, and it seems as if the director's work paid off as well! This is the best performance of this song i've heard so far (well besides the original of course :) Simon and Garfunkel always win :D )

  • i love this song and the guy is freaking amazing! whats his name !! bring him to my chorus!! lmao.. and i did this for something called The Young Americans.. lol

  • insane....

  • I love this song this was awsome, I just wish my high school would post their version they used to killlll this song

  • get a proper sound recording systems, you have a fan here... if u sell cds can u let me know!!!

  • great cover

  • I LOVE THIS SONG. THIS IS MY VERY FAVORITE PERFORMANCE OF IT. Happiness. :)

  • I've been listening to a few of your choir's videos. They are all outstanding! This choir has something special going on that you all need to hang on to! Keep it up guys!

  • Best version I've seen on YouTube yet! Our choir Voices in Unity (NY), will be performing this on November 16 - can't wait!

  • like always the tenors are the best part of any song soprano thanks for attempting and doing a great job on the hardest part

  • excellent job!

  • This was excellent. Great job tenors!!

  • choirs that get criticism is a good thing lmao. if they didn't they'd sound like shit. :| constructive crit. = good.

  • very good

i was just in new york in a 175 person directed by Kirby Shaw himself!

we sang this song and many others in Carnegie Hall! I personally enjoyed yall singin this

    it was very good

  • wait i did too haha this song has been stuck in my head ever since

  • wow soprano solo is great though

  • you guys look really into it...........

why do all the bass soloists sing it classically.

  • Comment removed

  • This is really good, but I think they could have used a better balance between the girls and the guys...

  • i think that the men overpowered the sopranos way to much and there wasn't nearly as much dynamics as this song deserves, its almost in one monotone

  • what, do you go around watching all bridge over troubled water videos and then critisize them?? WHO ARE YOU?????

  • ok first of all, who the hell are you.

and in order for u to know i watch bridge videos, u have to be watching them yourself,

    stalker much ? freak.

  • the song was originally written for male singers, the women voices were added to make it a choral version. and it's really difficult to capture dynamics on a video camera such as this one... but it does drag a little at the end. but anyway, it's a great version!

  • which arrangement is this ?

  • Kirby Shaw

  • fair play sorpanos, they did that top Bb better than we ever did. we nearly DIED when we saw that on the paper, half of the choir didn't know what the hell that note was. xx

  • LOOOVE IT!! my hs choirs doin this arrangement 4 their graduation and i sing tenor part. im surprised cuz i can hear the tenors. :) in other videos of this version the tenors back out.

  • that is because all men were singing tenor even the bass section.

  • yeah, we dont have that many guys so most of em sang base. just not used to that many guys singing and sounding really good. where im at its kinda hard to get both. soo, just to clear the confusion. still sounded great though. :)

  • nice job. good solos. i would only say to watch the ending. the higher notes got lost in the mix. open your mouths taller and use air. also, maybe have everyone wear pants. you look kind of funny with different lengths in your skirts.

  • great soloist & nice balance. dynamics could have more contrast and there could be a little more conviction, but all in all a good performance.

  • this is my favorite arrangement, but personally i think it was too slow. i agree that there needs to be more soprano. and i think it needs to be less of a choir concert style. put a lil style in it

  • yes it was me his vain sister.you guys do sound good, great sound. you just dont seem very professional.you could sound better, but i must say, nicely done.

  • Sorry guys that was my vain sister you guys sound great but our choir has way less guys in it so this song doesn't have that young lower voice effect that a lot of people dont like. We have to sing almost all our songs in falsetto.

  • our choir is singing this.we sound better.way better.

  • So....do you want applause or what???? Im sure theres people out there who sound better than you but you dont hear them dissing it.

  • i lov3 this style, allthough i also love singing older style music in my choir, such as clips from the messiah or music by bach ect... completely new style from what i am used to, love it

  • awesome.

  • The soloists are fantastic!

  • amazing

  • You guys are too amazing!! Keep singing!!

  • =\

    where's the bass section?

    *sigh*

  • there is a tenor section, no bass in this version

  • and a beautiful tenor section it is

  • i think they needed a stronger soprano part, not bass. good job though.

  • You guys are awesome.
