DW4: Campaign for Cheng Du-Liu Zhang's Surrender

Took MANY attempts to complete this...it was easier as Ma Chao because you could simply ride the Shadow Runner..chop up the necessary officers..and keep on moving.

Well Wei beat Shu but then Sima Yan destroyed the goverment of Wei and soon Wei turned to Jin and then Jin took Wu so neither of the tree kingdoms won

DID win... but that was the Han dynasty... after that Sima yi started a rebelion and won... theirfore starting the Jin dynasty...

even after that. Wei was a kingdom and i can't beleive i have to point this out... JIN IS A DYNASTY. two diffrent things.

how do you make them surrender

This one was a pain to trigger. XD Probably the hardest one in DW4 for me. I think what you need to do is defeat every enemy officer and sub-officer as fast as you can (allies can't kill any of them) except for Ma Chao without entering the western area near the gate. If you either get too close to the gate, defeat Ma Chao, or take too long, Liu Zhang will enter the battle and it won't be possible. When it says that Liu Zhang is considering surrender, approach the gate and this should trigger.

hey man. ok, i killed EVERY officer/sub officer & made it say liu zhang is considering surrender. but ma chao always shows up before i get there. when i do get to the gate, it's always after ma chao shows up & it won't happen. am i doing something wrong?

I had alot of trouble getting this one too. The best I can recommend is what I did. Use popemobile's Stage Events Guide on GameFAQs and try to follow it word for word. I managed to get it after a few tries.
