@ThePwnybrony32 It's not a "hidden" boss, It's Knuckles' boss area... so you don't get there normally with Sonic and Tails, but with Knuckles instead.

@LightPhoenix667 It's not a statue-like thing. It's a capsule, but the game didn't loaded the correct graphics for it (probably because he was not supposed to be there that fast and the game didn't had the time to load the graphics for it...idk).

@LightPhoenix667 It was supossed to be that capsule that frees the ghosts in the level. He skipped that so he will not have to pull the lamp switch and light the zone so that no ghosts will attack him. Unfortunately they reappear after every checkpoint no matter if you skip that capsule or not. :D

@rootay It's because you've played the game, and you know that never happens normally. Human brain is designed to feel safety when you're in an environment you know, because you got all the necessary information for a possible fight or escape. When what you know about something is totally ripped apart, the brain reacts with fear. That's why in horror movies there is an abuse in morphed faces, places and such. That's why glitches are so used in game creepypastas as well.

Regarding Hydrocity Act 2:

"The death takes 9 seconds, but removes the boundary lock which prevents the player from zipping past the left edge of the level and saving 24."

In other words, the death ends up saving 15 seconds.

This is quite simply beautiful. Even at my best, 57 seconds was the fastest time I've beaten Angel Island act 1 without a tool. I think this video shows what you can do to cut down time. Although, I don't recommend running through walls unless you know exactly how to move and where you'll end up. (Yes, this is possible, and you do not require a tool to do it.)
