  • Please Mr Hannan continue the fight against the EUSSR. Our liberties have been severed and eroded over the previous Labour government. Turn back the tide of Social Democracy. Orwell that modest Etonian more than 80 years ago predicted the government evolution into all encompassing nanny state.

  • Im i wrong to want this man to be the next PM ???

  • with dr paul in the whitehouse and daniel in no.10 the west would be well back on its way to recovery all in an honest, respectful way we could all be proud of!

  • Oh, and by the way, factor in ALL of the taxes, i.e., Capital Gains, state income, federal income, and the top 1% (save for those who get special favors from the government) pay no less than 50% of their income in taxes. Sorry, retarded Socialists.

  • @TheManiacalSatanist6 Could you give me the source of that please?

  • @TheCrappyaccount Check you PM box. That's just one of many.

  • Do I give this video a thumbs up because of Daniel Hannan, or do I give it a thumbs down because the people interviewing him are just one of many of these crony-capitalist think tanks?

  • A friend of mine used to work on his staff and offered me a job over in England working with him. Really kicking myself now.... But i guess i need to fight the good fight here in the USA!

  • I wanna kick Daniel Hannans ass.

  • "your country"..lol...what a fucking joke....1% of the wealthiest Americans own 40% of the country..the top 10% own 90% of the country....the least wealthy 90% own only 10% of the countries assets.

When you take these numbers into account its easy to understand why the rich should pay more taxes..its because their assets benefit most from government spending.

  • @malechauvinistxy That wealth was created, not taken. How does Bill Gates benefit from government spending? If it weren't for Bill Gates, the government would not have as much money to spend. You have it backwards. Bill Gates gives the government money, not the other way around. The government benefits from the wealth that Bill Gates created. The government doesn't do a damn thing to help Bill Gates. If anything, the government gets in his way and hinders him from making even more money!

  • @MrFreeLibertarian Bill Gates gives the government his money and in return the government protects his wealth and assets in the form of infrastructure spending, defence, police/fire services, planning/regulations..etc

governments cant "benefit" since governments are non proffit.

  • @malechauvinistxy Not true. Bill Gates could easily have taken his business anywhere and made his money. He did not need the government. All the people who work for him that use the roads etc., to deliver his products already pay to use the roads. The HQ employee who drives to work does. The trucking company does, etc., so why does the business get taxed again for those roads? Corporations pay way too much in taxes. The U.S. has the second largest corporate tax rate in the world.

  • @MrFreeLibertarian im not saying Bill Gates "needs" the governemnt...im saying that Bill Gates uses government spending in the form of infrastructure, education, defence, police/fire..etc.....and therefore. thats the reason why he and other rich people, with assets, pay more taxes.

ie..he has a genius business model but there is also the element of his business that is linked to how tax money is spent.

  • @MrFreeLibertarian for example...coorporation tax pays around 9% of the Federal income...and coorporations account for around 40% of the nations wealth(in assets)....it turns out that 9% of the federal income pays for 40% of the Defence spending(to protect lives and assets)...so the coorporation tax should not be lowered since they are paying to keep their assets safe...BUT...this does not take into consideration the wars...so should coorporations and rich pay more tax?..HELL YEAH :)

  • @MrFreeLibertarian oh..and I forgot to take into account for the budget deficit(which was kept under controll before the bush tax cuts)...tax the rich..tax the banks..tax Wall street and lower taxes for everyone else and lets have fairer competition. :)

  • @malechauvinistxy The recipe for economic progress is to lower taxes for everybody and force the government to spend less money! The economy will pick up and then everyone will benefit. We should also demand an end to political cronyism with big business but that can only happen when the government gets too much power to spend and regulate. If we drastically cut spending and regulation, then we'll end the government's ability to reward their friends on Wall Street and other political donors.

  • @MrFreeLibertarian define a "low" tax...lol.....bottom line..taxes need to be paid..peopler need defence, pensions, education, benefits..etc.....who should pay them??...well the working and middle class paymainly for their healthcare, pensions, social security...the rich pay for their education(since they always complain that they want an educated workforce) and defence/ discretionary..etc.

  • @MrFreeLibertarian how does government have too much power to regulate?..what regulations are directly affecting your life???

the problem with libertarian lunacy..they dont live in the real world.

  • @MrFreeLibertarian "The economy will pick up and then everyone will benefit"

well I disagree with everyone...I dont think there are any "economic problems"..in fact..things are getting better every year..peasants today have cell phones, ipads, xbox360s dvd players...all this technology was impossible shit you could not dream of 10 years ago...now everybody has this wealth.

    wealth=technology.

  • @MrFreeLibertarian you know why America is wealthy right?..has nothing to do with "free markets" or "low regulation"...its a combination of force(ie CIA destabalising third world countries), crippling third world debt to have a slave labor population to build your shit for cheap, the fact that America was not DESTROYED and bombed to shit after ww2...and the fact that oil is traded in dollars...nothing to do with giving tax cuts and lowering regulation..rofl

    libertarian nutjobs

  • @MrFreeLibertarian /watch?v=unFqp5uUeyw&feature=relmfu

  • @malechauvinistxy I don't thinking I'm getting the video you want me to watch. What's the title?

  • Read The Law by Bastiat. (Free download on internet). Watch The Agenda -(Amazon) Remember it is the youth of today that will end up with the bills this regime is charging up...and their kids. RESTORE AMERICA 2012 RON PAUL

  • Limeyland is now becoming a muslim country, LOL.

  • @Jimmac789 limeyland is a themepark in Florida

  • @MsOneiroi77 Sorry, I meant Englestan (full of 7/7 bombers).

  • @Jimmac789 aka the creditors that can foreclose on your debt

  • He is unknown in Britain.

  • The liberal leftist loons would love Hannan until they find out he's not a communist.....

  • Wow, he just gave a PERFECT rendition of the new Right's agenda: "European healthcare, European social security, European defense, European green taxes, European COLLEGE EDUCATION - these things can all be reversed". And the Heritage Foundation - wow am I stepping into a den of wolves. I'm just so thankful for whistleblowers. I hope the News of the World goes the way of the dodo.

  • I disagree with him over the NHS but his comments on excessive state spending are correct and astute.

  • good interview. wish it had been longer.

  • Hannan on Cavuto: "The guy I'd really have voted for in your election was Ron Paul".

  • Spot on. Hannan says "Government by executive decree, trampling over states rights, appointing federal czars, shifting power from the elected representatives to the unelected functionaries. We are losing something very precious, which once gone, we will miss" Never heard him speak before, but this guy is pretty amazing.

  • @DuhYouIdiot Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching!

  • @DuhYouIdiot Shut up!

  • No wonder the Heritage foundation likes Hannan. If I wouldn't know it and by listening to what Hannan has to say (and ignoring has British English) I would mistake him for an American conservative who is a member of the Heritage Foundation.

  • @TheJiral He is not speaking "British English", you arrogant bastard, he is speaking just plain English. He is also an idiot, Britain is stupidly capitalist, not socialist. These american idiots who have no idea what socialism is spout the same crap. We are the country that invented capitalism, and we were also hit hardest by the global meltdown thanks to our banks being the greediest.

  • @stig781

Huh? British English wasn't an insult? It is merely a matter of fact that English is a polycentric language with a couple of variants. British English is one of them and it is the one he is obviously speaking. Of course, you can call it just English, but then you can also call American English, just English, if you like it or not.

  • Evil removes free will.

Taxes on Income allows FORCED "charity" aka Redistribution (individual or corporate), the EVIL child of Hubris & Envy is Pandora's Box, when opened it makes SLAVES of the taxed, DEPENDANTS of the recipients, TYRANTS of the powerful and CRONIES of the politicians all in the name of "helping" some by enslaving others.

It's just too seductive and easy to waste OTHER people's money.

  • Hannan = Common Sense

    Future P.M....Yes!

  • Mr. Hannan I will have your babies.

  • i love the internet. if the politicians ever try to take this tool away from us we MUST retaliate!

  • I have been a big fan of Hannan's for years, since the 1st time I heard him.

  • @3martijns If you're interested, you can watch his full speech by clicking the link in the description and clicking through to the speech he gave at The Heritage Foundation.

  • Future P.M

  • What is so great about Hannan is that he can convey the basics so eloquently and concisely meanwhile he applies his principles so soundly...

    Good interview Heritage.

  • @Reckless3057 Thanks for watching, @Reckless3057!

  • he said " a civil war was fought there as well not to over pay taxes and that they are now paying too much taxes again" so does that mean if all measures to reverse that, a civil wat could occur again...

  • @altops "God forbid we should ever be twenty years without such a rebellion... And what country can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not warned from time to time, that this people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. ... What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure." Thomas Jefferson.

But I believe in peaceful non-cooperation with the govt.

  • @freesk8 i have that very quote posted in my business lobby
