The Body of Christ has Never been Divided. Believe it or not. Those who are lead by the Holy Spirit are never at each others throats. Only those who are lead by men and their traditions are into strife and bloodshed. The Body of Christ will never have unity with them.
But many divisions are not merely misconceptions and are often necessary when the church is straying from biblical Truth. There should not have to be denominations, because there is only one Truth. And a lot of churches don't preach the Truth. If all denominations followed strictly what the bible says then we could unite, but they don't.
But I believe some are close enough to the Truth to unite such as...
Wesleyans, Methodists, Mennonites, Amish, Quakers, Pentecostals, and Church of Christ.
i don't agree with all what you said with my respect, why? because when someone is real christian he won't attack another christian from some other denomination whether in words or else, i was orthodox myself but i found the teachings of the baptist church better, but that never means i hate orthodox! or any other! although we all believe in jesus being the christ, but still there some spiritual distractions! i guess satan is just working well on those who don't fight with the word of god.
Humanity is impossible to loose its sin until god comes back..so all we can do is ask God himself and do the right thing and wait for him..do everything he taught us as good, and always remeebr him thats the key thing ..everyday remmeber God the thing is that many people forget him after one second. He is our creator and our loving father who helps us and I adore him! I love my brothers and sisters just like I love him and do the same.
I'm so glad you uploaded this video. I've been saying for a long time that all of the divisions within Christianity have shown me that Satan does exist. Human beings have an instinct to compete with each other. For most Christians, it's all just a who's more right contest. This is like the Devil's playground. My relationship with Jesus is very personal. I have become so disgusted with Christians condemning each other that I don't even go to any church anymore.
@isabellibrizzi IThe church is built for ur sake so if u want to ask God u can go to church and ask him its a good opertunity to go to church and see Him again and come closer to him
Thank you so much for posting this video. This is exactly how I feel about the Mystical Body of Christ. I am a Protestant, but I am deeply considering switching to Catholicism. I want to stress that our division is a horrible stain on the Body of Christ. We need to agree to disagree, and yet work together. We MUST overcome these misconceptions and love one another as brothers in Christ, as we all are. God Bless.
Amen! I believe The body of christ would be even stronger if we understood each other better. The bible is powerful and every verse has more than one truth to it. Recognize that first.
I agree with SermonFire that unity will happen when we receive our glorified bodies. Unfortunately, the Vatican is very busy with their "Interfaith" initiative, mainly in regards to our Muslim brothers and sisters.
Normally, I would consider this a good thing but all spokes DO NOT lead to the same God. Jesus is the only way.
Romans 12:18 states "If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men."
I tell you the TRUTH, if Christians will not stop firing accusations on one another: the "unbelieving world" would just find a hard time IDENTIFYING which one is true and isn't. Unless you unite in the ESSENCE of the Law OF Christ, not the form but the substance of it; your attempt of bringing unconverted souls out of confusion to unity is futile. Disunity only breeds MORE confusion and LESS assurance to the convert; with this thought in HIS head: "Am I in the "right" church?
His church group would NATURALLY say YES while the rest 99% would most probably say NO! To get RID of all your meaningless arguments that breeds disunity; why not ask yourself: "to GOD and Christ, which is it that MATTERS MOST?" Allow me to cite 3 passages of Sc. (Micah 6:8; Mat. 7:21 and Revelations 19:8). Most certainly I tell you unless you strip yourselves off your religious and political labels and stand stark naked; u will never see the thing that would lead u2unity.
The only place that the church of Christ will be united is in Heaven.
Sorry dude, but to try and say that the Roman Catholic Church is somehow justifiable after its hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of years of hiding the scripture (to keep themselves in power), clear heresy, and persecution of those who didn't follow the Pope, is just plain ridiculous.
And some Pentecostals are demon-possessed, ever watch TBN? Holy Spirit Machine guns much?
Just because I dont agree with a lot of their teachings. Does not mean we cannot get along and be friends.
I once was friends with a Catholic priest, and the funny thing was is that he always agreed with my views on his teachings, but refused to correct them or teach the people.
He respected me, I called him PJ instead of Father.(pastor Jim) or just Jim.
It's amazing yet heartbreaking to me how we as Christians reach out to the world and tell them about the love of Jesus Christ, then bring them into the body only to hate them when they become a christian. Why do we show more love to the world than to each other. How can we really be servants of Jesus Christ and practice discord, racism, pride, slander, backbiting and anything that causes seperation in the Body of Christ. We may not agree on everything, but we can and should agree on John 3:16
"I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators ... of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters ... I have written not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolator, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat. ... Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person." 1 Corinthians 5:9-13
Not sure what your trying to say. Are you saying there is to be no unity in the christian world? I don't agree with many prostant beleifs or Catholic but that doesn't mean we have to hate each other. Nor does it mean we can't learn from each other. Just because they may not be of your denomination doens't mean they are not christian. Could you please clairfy what your saying. Great vid btw man. Keep up the GREAT work.
not hating each other is not the same as "unity" Some groups that call themselves "Christian" may as well be a different religion entirely from other groups that call themselves "Christians" Should we unify with other religions too?
I agree that some people call themselves CHristian aren't but that isn't what he is talking about either. We should unify with those who truly follow the Lord and have a real heart for him. We should not attack each other and stand untied when need be. That isn't saying we have to follow each others traditions. Look at the Eastern Orthadox on how this works. Each has there own traditions but at the core they all have the same faith so there is true unity in there.
I agree with you AC7. In fact, if men would only focus on the substance rather than the shadow, the content rather than the cover, the spirit rather than the letter of God's word---tehre would be no divisions amongst us. Deregatory terms such as: false, deceived, ignorant, lost (and such) are mostly hurled by some to those who don't agree with their dogma (s). And biblical hermeneutics is most often RELATIVE; unless one understands the law BEYOND the letter, they will not see the TRUTH.
Christ came to emphasise and stress the value of following the ESSENCE of God's law from the heart where TRUE beauty lies. The Pharisees haven't understood Him bcus they were so occupied with the EXTERNAL observance of "the law" ... and bcus of this they accused Him of being a law-breaker when in fact He isn't.
The Sabbath is not just the seventh day; but men keeps the sabbath everytime he assists the weak and gives rest to his neighbor ...
worship is not an outward form but an inward reality, the temple of God is not one made out of bricks but one formed out of flesh. The voice of God isn't found in the whirlwind, the quake, the fire and even in the temples made by hands, but in the still small voice of man's heart.
Truth is not hard to find, it's not complicated to understand, and no one needs to be a scholar to comprehend it; the only thing needed is for one to be pure and simple---just like a little child.
It was the traditional and seed of pride seperates us from unity.

Fantastic-agree wholehearterly with view we need to be of one.
We also need to ensure our Christian message is heard and having a variety of vechicles is very helpful.
I have recently come home thru an unusaul route and will now 'preach' the good news in a very different to my upbringing
Reading the Bible works-we are not all compliant

I must agree.
I love Catholics, but I honestly actually hate their false religion and teachings.
I believe its in my right to dis-like somthing that is a lie,false,mis-leading,ect..
As far as the Catholic goes,I love them. They are great people.
Just decieved.
If they do not heed my warnings, that is their choice and there is nothing more I can do.
Im just the witness,God,Jesus,do the work and miricle of the calling, and of salvation and of the Holy Spirit.
