Definitely! We need to clean up house and restore faith to the Conservative base out there. Once we do that, we must market fiscal responsibility to the ever growing registered independents out there, as they are to me, to be the major swing vote that will ultimately determine who will be the victor of each legislative and gubernatorial race. They fail to see that the reason why the United States has so many immigrants with dreams in their minds and the will to succeed in their hearts, is that the US allows for people to work and reap the benefits of their labor. If you want to succeed, you will succeed. Sometimes success is harder to obtain, but if you have the desire to overcome all obstacles, you will. I understand that there are many individuals out there who legitimately need help, like the disabled, retirees, wounded military(especially if they were injured in the battle for us to keep our liberties and freedoms). There are times when people have a life experience that leaves them in a tough position (losing a job, getting a chronic illness).

As for those help programs I mentioned, let it be temporary aid. Something for people to have a piece of a paycheck while they are in transition between jobs. But, let me make myself very clear on this, it will stop after a few months max for unemployed people, not keep welfare indefinitely for people who do not earn their wages. Those in the unemployment program will receive and have access to job search sites or job fairs. If they make no attempt at trying to get gainful employment, they will
kicked out of the program. Welfare, should be overhauled, because we have too many people abusing it. People that are healthy and get a welfare check, or women who have more children to get more money, and lazy men who just don't want to work...why? Because they don't have to.
