  • these earthquakes wow first this one then japan the new yersie must bew a warnig sing that the big one is coming for california im scared

  • money comes out of a machine right? yes. why cant we print money and give it to Haiti? they need it more than we do.

  • tis poutanas

  • 0:38 did that building just drop right after it started?

  • sa se devan epi d'or lan

  • @ssedillos5 and other countries are stuck with americas problems as well... and how would you like it if america was wiped out and you were a survivor and no one came for you because no other countries helped out. dont be so god damn selfish.

  • evrything just fall down and big selence

  • the US should invest in cement buildings. thats how we been doing it on guam for 30 years. only on Guam you can laydown through a 7.2 earth qauke and talk about it with your friends at school the next morning.7.2 imagine if that happened any where else, not a single person died in the earth qauke when it hit. same when an 8.2 hit in the 90s.

  • these people suffer because of there own government, and president, and some of the evil going on there god has also curse this country!!!!!!!! im so sorry to see the kids have to suffer for this they are innocent!!!!!

  • Wow .. a few seconds and that building already gave in.

  • that was funny

  • I say we worry about our people (Americans) befor we go to another country and take care of them when there own presdient or government cant even take care of there people

  • I know what you guys were put through Im from ChCh , NZ and our 7.1 quake was the same as yours. scary stuff

  • @TheBubblemuncher well the reason it struck haiti so hard is because pretty much all buildings in haiti are made out of cheap material

  • I'm an earthquake. Shackey Shackey.

  • my grandmother was in a quake once. and she said the floor moved like jello. the only quake ive been i totally slept through it. -.-

  • This is Epi D'or. I went there in May and its probably the only nice eatery in Port-au Prince. Dont let this video fool you, Haiti Is indeed as poor as they say if not worse

  • @Jadallah21 Maybe they didn't show the right places cause I'm from Port-au-Prince and they are so many beautiful places that people don't know!!! If epi d'or was the best place they can go with you, danm it sucked!!! I think they only wanted to see poverty and not the beauty that made the difference!!!! I would recommend to do some research before saying things, maybe the earthquake destroyed a lot but there's still some standing and showing that the country is not as poor in social places!!!!

  • haiti doesnt seem that poor... the buildings and the streets are pretty modern and nice...

  • @coolcoolcoolest but american t.v will still keep on showing you the slums and poverty as if it was the only thing that exist in haiti...

  • We experienced a 7.2 yesterday (Easter) over in San Diego. I can't imagine how different it must have been. It was definately the biggest quake I've ever experienced, but Haiti is much poorer than we are, so it' was more destructive for them. I wish I could donate to them or something. I'm lucky our house wasn't devastated , and not much was anywhere around the city.

  • HAARP

  • @sunshinelady1211 Bingo!

  • What about all our tradegys, the economy is eff'ed up and the usa is in a eff'ed up place because of all these "Donations" i do feel really bad, but do we get ALL this money when we have a hurricane or earthqake?

  • @UtubeDuDeDuh .. Please don't tell me you really believe that the money we donated to Haiti was going to make any bit of difference to our crappy economy.. Even in the state we are in we are 10 million times better off than Haiti.. Besides you want to complain about where all the money is going, why don't you look up to your beloved government officials and President.. How nice he gets to have elaborate dinners and vacations while the rest of the nation is struggling to keep our homes..

  • @JehovahSaveUs I do believe it. and your comment was pointless because i don't know where you're getting at? you weren't really being persuasive. I'm talking about hurricane katrina, etc...Its still a mess over there so why continue to donate to places outside of your own country when people are still suffering with nothing from hurricane katrina?...and i know haiti is a mess, thats irrelevant to my comment...

  • @UtubeDuDeDuh .. You really think the donations have effected our economy.. Hmm then what about all these wars and military bases around the world.. does that come first or does helping people...?? And my comment was not pointless maybe it;s because your an ignorant person who cannot see outside the box because you lack any sense of compassion.. your stuck in your own world of greed.. gl to you...

  • @JehovahSaveUs Ok i read up into the miltary part than reaslized i was talking to a complete narrowminded ignorant person who doesn't know nothing......military/wars all that vs helping people hmmm? im not even going to explain myself because if you dont get it by now your never going to get it...go research im not your teacher..and there is nothing you've said that was correct so it also wastes peoples time.

  • @UtubeDuDeDuh,,, I am narrow minded and your selfish and a typical arrogant American.. And research what, the fact we are spreading ourselves everywhere like Rome... Great well let's see how long we can maintain this lifestyle of policing the world... Like I said no reason why trillions of dollars should go into so much destruction when normal people like those in Haiti and here in America are suffering for a damn loaf of bread. But since you think it is needed well then your right

  • @UtubeDuDeDuh .. I am ignorant, but you will always be arrogant with that attitude. Good luck with your point of view and I pray you don't live in an area prone to the destructive force of mother nature... Would be sad to have people with your attitude...

  • oh i think the earth quake was bad and im glad we helped but america needs to open there eyes and see how fucked up we are now!

  • Why not just slide down the buildings?

  • Fuck USA Worst country in the world... u guys think u own the worls... so fuck u ... i hate USA

  • i'm not american myself but, just stfu dude. Yes americans have done some stupid things, but we're not perfect. Get over yourself and start looking at people and countries with something other than judgemental eyes.

  • give them a brake

  • In some places said that the HARD machine its the one who couse it, the eath quake in Haiti, Chile, Guatemala, etc... Is there a quake season??? i dont think so.

  • 1st, AMERICA it's a whole continet, i dont know why you "American's" call it that way your are not the whole continent, you are United States. The name allready say it "United States OF AMERICA" its part of america. Anyways, i dont know about help in the katrina, but when the 9/11 you have support of alot of countrys (you don't see news?), United State its not the only one who help in the Haiti Quake or the tsunami, a lot of others countries helped.

  • @klwc but the US donated the most.

  • Why does America do EVERYTHING ?

  • I'd have to agree. America does do EVERYTHING. Whenever something tragic happens here we have NO help from anyone. For example, the 9/11 terrorist attacks we hardly had any help and Hurricane Katrina. Every other country seems to turn they're back on us when we're in need. I don't understand it.

  • The help of America is greatly appreciated just as long as it doesnt include an occupation. That will not fly.

"NATION OF MAN WILL STAND TOGETHER"

  • we do not occupy dumbass

  • And if we had an earthquake half that size the schools would tell everyone to cover up while still in the building.........FAIL.

  • Watch my video. It will blow your mind away!

  • The music in the backround does not match the vid..wtf!!

  • That building fell quick. Didn't even have a chance.

  • @DJKing78 That building did not collapse. It's a cafe in Haiti and it is now standing. I went there after the earthquake. Jeez, speak what you know of!

  • music in the background doesnt go with the video - at all !!!

  • about 2 weeks ago or so

  • ??????? which planet do u live?

  • Excuse, I'm Dominican. I live just across the border from Haiti and I was working when this happened. I respect your points of view on helping homeless people in America, but we have way more homeless people here in the Dominican Republic yet we were actually the first country to provide aid to Haiti, despite the fact that both countries have had a feud for decades. Consider the circumstances. I have friends from work who lost their parents and family in that quake.

  • Cool music bro.

  • datz crazy imagine people in dat buildin just died and didnt even expect it

  • OMG! This wash ow the building collapsed?!?

  • Okay, I agree with the fact that we should help them...but I mean...America has homeless people on the streets, people without food, poor neighborhoods, were in debt...why is it that those people don't get money from like relief foundations...it just doesn't really make any sense to me. Why is it that these other countries need our help, when nobody is willing to help american's on our own soil...

  • couldnt agree more.

  • Amigo - you are right....and you are wrong. There are organizations helping the homeless in the US - Habitat for Humanity for instance.

That said if nothing is done to help Haiti, many will try to go to the US - and I dont blame them. It is in the US interest to have stable and secure neighbours.

As for the hungry in the US. Of course they should get a hand - but never forget, that there are a lot of neoliberals out there, who, like Thatcher, dont believe in society.

  • well I do agree with helping Haiti as well. I'm just saying America needs to worry about our shit first...other than everybody else.

  • because you can help yourselfs

You are the wealthiest country in the world and you are asking for help?..

The US takes an automatic responsibility as the most powerful country to save and protect others...

  • r u kidding? we are far from the wealthiest country in the world. We are in so much debt, and will always be. America just is the land of opportunity buddy, we aren't rich, people here live off their dreams to get rich or die trying. Some make it, most fail. But America is far from the wealthiest country.

  • yeah our country "America" fucks us as well, our goverment would raither do something political and get noticed than help their own and not be noticed

  • THAT IS TRUE MOST OF THE TIME. But not always, they have to do something or the american people really will rule all when they get fed up with the lies ......

  • I'm not trying to be a dick or anything, but we are in enough debt and have enough problems here in America that I think we should be more concerned about. Sure, we should help them I guess, but if we helped ourselves with all the problems we have like we are helping them, we would be in better shape.

  • @vA7Xv agreed

  • Your not seeing the big picture my freind, this is an opertunity for America to actualy help its economy, who do you thing is going to rebuild Haiti, who do you think is going to get all the big contracts for roads, brididges pipe lines, Power plants ect.? who you have all that go to the french? think all all the job opertunities will open for US citizens , when all that is done, the big Hotel giants are next, the fact is it is an island in the caribbean if we dont step up our enemies will.

  • damn i hope the best for them... too bad that we "the people" can only donate a few dollars while the "corrupted" leaders and politicians play with this act of destruction.

  • Although my heart breaks for Haiti, I'm pissed that our government didn't act this quickly for hurricane Katrina victims!!!

  • @imtang0708 thats the difference between the bush administration and the obama administration... its not all just "gov'ment" retard

  • @imtang0708

    so ture

  • @imtang0708

yeah bc the fuckers in katrina deserved it.

NO is full of shit. gangs, violence, and nothing good.

i'm glad it happened. they need a cleansing.

i'm not racist or a hater, but facts are facts.

    NO = one city

    Haiti = whole country.

    so get your shit straight.

People in Katrina had time to leave and do what they want.

    People in Haiti didn't.

  • @imtang0708 .. I hope you have changed you r way of thought becaus ethe response to Haiti has pretty much been nothing.. all the aid and money is tied up in red tape, and the only assistance is going to government officlas and the rich.. many people are still struggling for food and water..

  • @imtang0708 Thats because we are concerned about ourselves more than others

  • haha...i also wonder in titanic is a sign because its 100 years before it...but i dont think anything will happed

  • no it isnt

  • fuuuuuuuuuck

  • lol!!

  • there is something wrong with you, you may need therapy.

  • so a poor third world country with enough problem of their own gets a to be shaken by a huge earthquake so that the big corporations and nations can make some profit for them? that's fucked up really, and the worst thing i can believe it, some people are really messed up by greed and lust for power :S

  • same thing i think. they never tried this hard to help them but now media covers it as if they just started 2 have problems.

  • those organisations that we donate

money to keep a big part of the profit for

themselves, and ive heard that they are

now using the money that was meant

for that huge hurricane disaster earlier

for haiti now 300million. its all a big game

    of money to them.

  • @xFishNinjax and it always has been

  • @xFishNinjax I saw a great quote." international aid is when the poor give to the rich."

  • I don't believe it when they say the whole country is rubble on the ground. And I don't believe the marines, corporations, artists, media, aid organizations and donation requests from the Western countries are there to just give it all to those people. I'm sorry to say but they are probably there to profit.

  • Mostly yes.. but its not just western countries.

  • halliburton will probably do the rebuilding :D and chaney will make a dollar :)

  • @nela04 yes, and on the Western media, it will seem like the Haitian's supported it.

  • Comment removed

  • Terrible , even worse is the fact that haiti is one of the poorest countries in the western hemisphere. It's going to take them years and years and years to get back on their feet :\

  • oh my Lord that is horrible, I just hope they are getting the help they need.

  • thats just the problem only the strongets does in Haiti right now cus they steal all the food,
