  • some people on Youtube have said Elvis cant sing 'high' ! They obviously dont know Elvis very well. This has always been one of my favourite Elvis songs, beautifull and beautiful voice from (in my opinion) the greatest singer ever.

  • This song really shows Elvis real true voice and vibrato that noone can touch.Elvis forever and ever.

  • He always will be the man. He comes through for me everyday.

  • verdaderamente impresionante, tema e interprete. tema 10.

  • Another great song by Elvis...:o)

  • I am an 'August Rose'!!!

    I love ELVIS PRESLEY!!!

  • My favorite Elvis ballad. Hands down.

  • great song. brilliantly sung.

  • Very beautiful,thank you.

  • It is available on Elvis in Hollywood, Elvis: The Other Sides-Worldwide Gold Award Hits, Out in Hollywood, Command Performances: The Essential 60s Masters II, Elvis Movies, Flaming Star-Wild in the Country-Follow That Dream soundtrack compilation, and the FTD Wild In the Country CD.

  • Written by Hugo Peretti, Luigi Creatore, and George Weiss. Elvis recorded it November 7, 1960 at Radio Recorders for his 1961 film, Wild in the Country. Take #19 was selected by RCA for release. The single release had a 5-week stay on Billboards Hot 100 Chart, peaking at #26. It was the B-side to I Feel So Bad.

  • This is such a very beautiful and underrated song. I've always really liked the movie. Elvis will always be the greatest singer, entertainer and phenomenon. Elvis will also always have the greatest voice. This video was absolutely perfect in every way, 10 Stars as always Jackie.
