Just because it is dangerous doesn't make it a "sport" in my mind. I love NASCAR racing and watch it every weekend and attend dirt track races all the time. I just consider it racing. Nothing wrong with that, it is still an amazing thing to watch. And does it really matter if people don't think it is a "sport"? Just enjoy watching it and let those that think otherwise, think otherwise. You could call it "left turns" and I wouldn't feel any different. NASCAR, oh yeah
