@LVGshultz the 4.8 isn't a bad engine actually it's the same design as the 5.3 and 6.0 just smaller displacement. The 4.8 has as much or more HP than the last gen 350 did. my '03 Z71 has the 5.3 but i had a '00 Reg.cab Stepside with the 4.8 and a 5 speed and it was a stout little truck
