  • smart guy, good job buddy..............thx for all the nice info.

  • if i had that i would get a ups thing with a built in batt and incorporate it so u never loose power when transporting "for a while

  • how bout the power source for the desktop?

  • That's a pretty cool piece of equipment. I'd say it's a reasonable price because it can replace multiple systems since you can just move one around to where you need it.

  • i totally agree about the module being sold separately. I have the neo-flex ergotron you reviewed a while back. I would love the option of switching from a laptop/monitor to dual monitors using the same base. sadly, i have not been able to track a module and gave up all hope.

thanks for the reviews, keep it up!

  • I woud love this.. I have a huge desk that if I replaced it with this would give me more room.. :)

  • $750 seems pretty reasonalbe to me whe you figure you could easily be replaceing two, three or Four $2000 systems. Nice piece!

  • Very nice review. Keep up the good work. :D

  • Keep up the good work =D If I didn`t have a laptop I would be totally using it for my computer

  • XxDJHyperxX,

Hmmm... thing is... they have it for laptops too. :)

    .

    Peace,

    Fr. Robert

  • Can I have the link to the laptop version on please and if posbile a review of it

  • XxDJHyperxX,

We might not review the laptop version for a while since it's so close to the dual-monitor configuration. (It only changes the top mount.) However, I WILL put the link to the product in the written review that will go up on TheTechStop(net).

    Peace,

    Fr. Robert

  • XxDJHyperxX,

The TTS lading page for this episode has been updated with a link to LCD/Laptop combo version. Click through on the link at the top of the description to get there.

  • JESUS CHRIST!

  • epohnopulse,

Actually, I prefer "Fr. Robert" -- but thanks for the flattery.

  • Hahaha.

  • What about a tray lock, it looks like it moves up and down quite easily. Wouldn't it be annoying if you have to always be adjusting it, if you have heavy hands.

  • loppydisk,

It actually locks on its own in the up position. To slide it away, you have to push down and away. I can actually lean on the keyboard tray with my elbows (and I'm a fat guy in case you haven't noticed!) without the tray sliding away.

  • All you need is "We Are the Robots" over the "hidden" ending!

  • IIIPropaganda,

I for one WELCOME our Evil Robot Overlords.

  • Awesome...but pricy.

  • SimmanGodz,

True... the cool things always are... sigh. :-)

  • yeah. lets just hang the most important part of the computer system

  • myfriends8008,

I'm assuming that you're referring to the CPU holder at the back of the WorkFit. I had the same misgivings at first, but the CPU is held by a steel cable harness that is attached to two hardpoints on the stand. Additionally, the CPU actually rests on the two rear legs of the base and is locked into place by a 1/4" bolt.

In other words, it's safer at the back of the stand that most CPUs are under a user's desk.

    .

    Peace,

    Fr. Robert

  • Thanks for the review.

  • Pretty cool, but I have to agree, the price is a little too high. For the price, I would want it to come with a battery backup (ups) and some built in surge protectors. For now, I just use a $20 rolling laptop desk that I got from cvs, LOL.......Come on workfit, Lower that price!
