You do know that as a property owner you can inspect the property with a 24 hour notice? I also specify inspections (you don't really need to) into the lease.

It virtually eliminates this kind of crap. I generally inspect within 15 days of move in. If it all good then 30 days later - then randomly. I never go longer than 90 days without in inspection.

Every time you see something like this on the web - ask yourself "where were the property owners"?
