  • wow. I hope she gets the help she needs!

  • and the sides were missing it grows back slow..with thin fine hairs..which you can see thru ta my scalp i did my. research... and that is the hairs i guess that covered it up..to mention i am now 20 been dealing with this since i was 17 i can email you photos...

  • have you ever did a procedure due to a patient with triangular alopecia....well thats what i think is wrong i had a biopsy done, but results came back normal so the doctor said it could jus be congential... i never realized i had this problem until one day i got my hair cut even all over and was getti

  • @datgurld45 dr. david whiting in dallas is literally the authority on unusual hair loss situations. i would trust his biopsy results. if they are normal, we can do a transplant. :)

  • How nuch for an African American lowering plz

  • @theluvorlust it depends on how much loss. somewhere between 9 to 11k.

  • lmfao

  • Hey i have a question. How much does these african american hair transplants cost???? I looked all over the website and I cant even find a rough estimate. Im assuming its an arm and a leg.

  • @CraZayTube hi, thanks for the question. i have been asked by my staff not to post answers about price directly on here. i'll send you a message.

    best,

    sml

  • perms, braids, now washing, baldness. god help us. el negro es bonito. pero tenemos que ser más inteligentes de lo que hacemos a nuestro cabello.

  • i wanna c a before and after

  • @Nikbones check out my website hairtx [dot com].

  • my hairling i think is permanently damaged from tight braids and weaves and alittle bit of genetics too. and i'm natural for almost 2 years.

  • you are probably a good candidate for hair transplant.

    best,

    dr. sam lam

  • I admire what you do. I always said that if I wasn't so afraid of blood and needles I would have went into the cosmetic surgery field :0) What is the best way to approach the plastic surgeons in my area who turn down women who can't get hair transplants. I have a friend who does permanent makeup and she told me many women can't get the transplant. I can give these women a temporary option with my Net Weaving method.

  • I have 18 years of braiding and weaving experience. I have learned to take care of the hair underneath the hair extension. Women you also need to speak up to your stylist it's okay to say "hey this braid is to tight" or 'could you sew a little looser." I would rather take a track out and re-sew it rather than cause damage to my clients hair. I constantly ask my customers " are you okay is this too tight?" I don't want my customers to be in pain.

  • many surgeons are ignorant of treating women because they are unaccustomed on how to do female hair work as well as on how to counsel women with how to manage their hair loss to begin with. i cater to a huge diversity of women, probably 20 to 30% or more of my hair transplant business.

  • yes. we talk about going natual, but we must also look at how we treat our hair! My last braids were done fabulously, but they done this way too tight!! It was killing me!!! I had to take them out. This cause damage to the hair. Now I have locks, and I must be careful when retwisting the front, since the hair is so soft, and hair line weak. WE MUST LEARN TO GIVE OURSELVES SCALP MASSAGES TO STIMULATE THE BLOOD VESSELS. This promotes growth.

  • if scalp massages work, that is fine. don't know too much about that except i use them to relax tight scalps after numerous donor harvests for hair restoration. one thing that is definite is too tight a braid can cause permanent hair loss in any race or gender. thanks for the comments!

  • Wow... Her hair is destroyed. She most likely had a few bad relaxing treatments, one right after the other.

  • Oh... Braiding did this to her hair? She might as well had just stuck to keeping her hair in an afro... Man that sucks!

  • This is what happens when black women use chemicals in thier hair. You asked for this!

  • it wasn't chemicals in this case but too tight a braiding.

  • Hats pull your hair out, were something underneath has when you put them on. Because they take out hair.

  • for the most part, hats are fine. it is tight braiding that causes this problem.

  • no more perms, relaxers, weaves, go natural this isnt what are hair is supposed to look like.

  • it can be in your genes to have alopecia,a girl had it at the age of ten now she's in her 20's dealing with it

  • alopecia is RARE for black women.

We just like to pretend that we have a genetic issue instead of admit that relaxers and tight braids/weaves are the problem

  • @al00fone THANK-YOU.

  • I Have alopecia and it actually didnt have anything to do with chemicals, the cause of alopecia areata has something to do with the immune system attacking your hair follicles:(

  • It could've been health issues that caused her hair to fall out,Or medication.

  • what cause this a relaxer?? her age?? braids ??

  • you see that? that's what happens when you obsess over your damn hair so much instead of the important things. We need to just go natral or something. i did and my hair is hecka long!!

  • black women need to stop treating the hair bad that's why black men have longer hair just braid it and grease it up stop all that fake stuff

  • @Eritrean122 Black men have longer hair then black women? What?
