He's untrained and untrusting of ppl in general. I have watched nearly every video of WIlliam you have posted and I urge you to get a REAL trainer (Buck Brannaman, John Lyons natural horsemanship etc) instead of posting vid after vid of your horse freaking out. I've been w/ horses my entire life and you NEED to do what's best for William - he fears you and everything around him. If all my owner did was film me nervous I wouldn't trust them either. Good Luck and please do right by William!
having watched some of your other videos i see that this horse acts this way aorund most situation (including the driving) your comments on this video about not knowing whats happehing and back into the mud again are so ridiculous i cant watch anymore......i hope the bloke in the video sees your remarks and sues you
I think you both were lucky to meet each other! Williams is such a beautiful horse and he deserves to be treated like a king (but after all don't we all treat our animals like kings??) :)
He's so beautiful! If you don't mind me asking, what's his story? I've seen a few of your videos about him and I'm just confused :/ How come he wasn't allowed out of his stable for two years and he's so petrified of the farrier?
Sorry to be nosey, completely understand if you don't want to asnwer.
Again, he's beautiful, and I wish you and him the very best!
Besides the marsh like conditions of the field, do you think he was abused? He's a handsome horse!
I ask if he was abused because I know of a farm near to where I live that has a large amount of horses and a nice big field for them, but sometimes the weather conditions make the place a mud hole. While I don't agree with everything, I do think they care.
While I'm a horse lover and have ridden, I could always learn a lot more! Hopefully someday I can have my own horse, as is my dream! <3
I've watched all your videos and just wanted to say that what you have done with William is amazing. He is so lucky that he is with you. Best wishes to you both!
He looks horrified of that guy. Looking through you're newer videos I can see what you saw in him. He was muddy and scared, not badly trained. I also wonder what farrier screwed him up so badly [based on your other video's]. Beautiful horse, great buy!
he obviously didnt trust that guy because i noticed in every video that he paws the air when he is stressed or nervous and as soon as that guy touched him he started to paw the air!
Oh and by the way, I've worked with abused horses, William was not abused by this man.

Every time that man touches him, the head goes up, the ears back, and he does that nervous movement with his hoof. I don't like that man.

All hackney horses in general seem too nervous... I'm not their biggest fan...

Instead of a senseless rude comment, you should have looked better in my video's, as he came without them.
