I dont get it... why does Roland stick to that old unpractical pitchbender/modulator? What's wrong with the two wheel design that other use? Especially the modulator annoys me. It jumps back when you release it so you can only play with one hand :-( I'm getting the Kurz. PC3x instead :-) Better sounds, less fancy GUI

noticed the two switches near the joystick? if you press them, the keyboard holds the modulation, so you can play with both hands...

i don't think either are really better than each other. i like some of the G's sounds more and i like some of the MOTIF's sounds more. but if i was going to buy one. definitely the G

yamaha, is sintetizadores or keyboards are far better that roland and korg, yamaha is the best thing roland is terrible

don't just argue with no apparent reason, give me reasons why yamaha make the best synthesizers. to be really honest. i don't class most of the romplers as proper synthesizers anyway. and if you take away the ROM based synths in the yamaha lineup what do you have. i love a lot of yamaha's stuff ROM stuff as well. and i certainly like some of their older stuff, like the DX series. but roland just make more interesting products in my opinion. also KORG FTW. they make the most interesting stuff now

Man i'm not sure if it could be better to buy a macbook (1.099), a roland pcr800 (310) and a mbox2 micro (249). Total 1.658 against 2.495 of Fantom G6. Saves 837 quid. Oh, and you can use a mouse as well!!!

lo unico que he escuchado es que gracias al precio tan elevado de este workstation y los sonidos tan extraterrestres mucha gente esta comprando como locos el Yamaha Motif XS, en todos los blog y review que he leido todos los creditos o la gran mayoria apuntan al Motif como mejor workstation y mejores sonido. Yo tengo un Roland y honestamente voy a cambiarme a yamaha

yo just got back form the roland tour. this thind is absolutely amazing. the sound quality is phenomenal. They have this new technology called super natural. check it out. this thing can do anyhting.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, make a video showing us the VST/AV Compatible editor, I can't seem to really find any real info on that subject of the Fantom G and that would really be the mane reason I'd buy it. I just really would like to see how the VST/AV Compatible editor works in a software sequencer, thanks in advance.

Roland really messed up with this one.

The most important element of a keyboard is the soundset, and it seems they just recycled some old out-dated sounds for this board.

Softsynths are so much more worthwhile.

es dificil decidir pero si quieres hacer musica electronica te recomiendo mejor el roland g8. pero si vas a crear musica con muchos brass y guitarras indudablemente compra el motif xs8.

y que me recomendas si quiero hacer rock progresivo? yo he visto que Jordan Rudess, el teclas de Dream Theater usa varios Roland en sus proyectos solistas.

para rock.. es mejor el roland g porque motif xs se destaca mas por los brass y synth

roland tiene mayos libreria de drums y baass y guitars lead q el yamaha
