No, it was before she got throat surgery to remove her nodules. The doctor told her not to talk for 6 weeks, she got sick of it and screamed and her legendary husky voice was born. :)

I like this song, when Bonnie still looked like Aeris and her voice was sweet. Now she is another one not natural Barbie and her voice is extremely husky. Good honeyfull song ;)

i heard the only reason why her voice was hurt was caus she had an operation and she wasnt allowed to tlk and then she got so annoyed she just screamed and dangered her vocal chords

she had cancerous nodules on her vocal chords. so once removed they left her voice very damaged. her scream adgiated them and cause scar tissue thus the permanent raspy voice. she can control it better now and sounds less rough. but that's her trademark now so she still uses it on most of the old songs, not so much on her upcoming album though
