  • @JohannalrenfroJLG, @pdrummer123 Hey folks, I'm a journalist in Seattle looking for further info about BallinJack. Does anyone know how to contact any of the surviving members of the band? If so please hit me at zwickelicious@gmail.com. Thx! This music blows me away...

  • Anybody notice that the guitar riff that starts at 3:12 is identical to the bass riff that starts Roberta Flack's version of the song "Compared to What" (1972)?

  • @GrangerKeller22 or you can send me your email and i can send it to you for FREE!

  • @TheBolillo310

Thanks.. I would appreciate any downloads of songs from this album of Ballinjack..

    my email is.... onemangang91911@yahoo.com

Would you know is any of their albums are available on CD..?

    Thanks again..

    Jesse

  • @jessejames1369 No official CD releases of their albums have been made, to my knowledge. However, there is a CD called "The Best of: Luther Rabb and Ballin' Jack" for a $25 contribution, from dancingmonica. I've been too poor and too leery to send them money, though. And they watch and report as news any YouTube posts of Ballin' Jack songs, so you wouldn't want to post their own digital music here.

  • @dobalena1 I can assure you Dancingmonica is legit, and Ive known him 8 years. He introduced me to Luther Rabb at his home. I promise there will be a CD and you wont be disappointed.

  • @JohannalrenfroJLG Thanks for the info, but it's too late. An official CD containing their first 2 albums is now available from cdeuroxpress, which is in Europe. I have a copy on the way. Expect me to be posting a lot of Ballin' Jack "movies" on YouTube in the next few months!

  • @jessejames1369 Hey, this is Johanna, the BJ expert (Ballin'jack), and to answer you, I met all of them, including Tim, who was a great, horn player/vocalist who's talents were critical to BJ back then, along with Jim Coile, and Jim Walters who left right before we saw them open for Jimi Hendrix. CD's are out there, if you want?

  • Definitely one of the best live bands I've ever heard in concert.. glad you posted this song. I had never heard this song before..

  • @jessejames1369 They were the first band I saw in concert at Swing Auditorium, as they opened for Jethro Tull....Ballin'jack were the most exciting band I ever saw! Hangin with Luther at his house off Sunset Strip, and he said they recorded the live album in San Berdoo cause we were the loudest fans, lol. Was laughing with him a week before he left us.....

  • @JohannalrenfroJLG Did you meet Tim? He is my uncle...
