the days were inter-racial activities abound and no discriminations of different sorts yet!, the days were no people lives on the streets and everybody can say-"home sweet home!" without a doubt!, the days were manila was once been the most favorited city around the world, along with paris, new york, tokyo,rome..etc....but hey!, those days will be coming back!,

don't worry...all of those old glory days...will be back again... the days we were once considered the tiger of asia, the days were numerous prestigous international architects like michael burnham, and gustave eiffel loves to make dreams become concrete realities!, the days were once manila was like paris or new york during nightime,....the days were stupidity is not included in the vocabulary of MANILANIANS!, the days were the citizens from around the world come and charmed by the once city...

i like Manila, during the 70s, nung maliwanag pa ang avenida, taft wala pang LRT, hindi pa mapanghi ang Recto nuong mga panahong iyon, ngayon grabe, pero wala tayong magagawa, dala ng paglipas ng panahon, hometown pa rin natin ito, dito pa rin tayo sa huling sandali ng ating buhay, ito lang ang bansang tatanggap sa atin, once na ayaw na natin sa ibang bansa, I LOVE THE PHILIPPINES YA LYUBLYU FILIPPINI

nand2 na ako sa Manila, I came back in 2007 to care for my Mom and stay home for good. No regrets at all and I feel like I'm living again after 40 yrs in the US. Am 58 now. My kids are in the US making the life of their own. SO I'm also making my life of my own here.

this video made me cry. I grew up in Manila and now im in America. Im an American born, raised and educated in the Philippines. I spent 19 years of my life in Manila. Now im 39 and living in the US. I will return to my homeland soon, I miss Manila so much. Sana ayusin nang government and Manila, the last time I was there madumi na ang mga kalye. I wish they could make it the way it was. I love Manila, its not the best place in the world, but it will always be home to me...
