Wow. I haven't checked this account for a while. It is a Strearns inflatable complete with reinforced sides, and ports in the bottom so it's self-bailing. This run is on the Arkansas River: Parkdale stretch; Shark's Tooth rapid (Class III) about 6 miles above the Royal Gorge. I have taken this kayak down the Gorge and Browns Canyon both have class IV rapids. This boat is fantastic! Very stable and will not flip very easily if you get the right line. I highly recommend one.
