She was placed in the reverse bear trap because she was abusing herself(she was addicted to heroin). After she survived the reverse bear trap,she went on to become Jigsaw(John Kramer)'s Apprentice. She wasn't supposed to be in the needle pit, Xavier was, but he through her in there. She was in the house with the needle pit to ensure that everyone in the "game" followed the rules.

aha i understand. but one more quistion. she is also in a trap where there was a needle in a glass box ( i think full of heroine or somethin) with 2 holes but if you stick your hand trough the holes the knives would go in your skin when you wanted to pull back. so she couldnt get out. what was that all about? getting her of heroine?
