Tom played it in a really weird way, in drop D with a capo on the 2nd so that it plays like an E.

It's pretty ridiculous, but tom thought it was easier...

that's so when he strums the d string on the second fret it plays an e an octave higher than the e on the e string that was tuned down to a d. confusing, but when you think about it, it makes sense.

u need to learn how to strum faster and how to lay ur fingers over the other strings to mute them

your hitting too many strings when your strumming up and down. just focus on strumming down and hitting the two strings of the power chord. You should work on that and make a new cover video for this song. You were perfect at 1:50 though. Great muffling job. Just keep up the work and you'll get it.
