The thing with Manowar is, is that they put on a proper show. I saw them in March, in Birmingham, UK and they played non stop for over 2 hours. I got my money's worth and the tickets were not that expensive. Manowar have not backed down to trends or the naysayers for over 30 years - they keep the faith and care about their fans.

And Karl shows plenty of emotion. Courage is a good example of his ability to emotion. Granted, he does a lot of shredding. But its always awesome and fitting. (Hand of Doom, Fight for Freedom)

Just look at the boys doing Ross the Boss, you can't have a mature voice with a crew that are basically 20 years younger than Ross. The vocalist does well as a basic modern power metal singer, of course everybody expects more... we need a future Eric Adams... nobody has come around yet for the true metal hordes.

And yes, maybe Eric is better then Patrick, but I just don't like Eric's dirtier style, sometimes it sounds too biker when Manowar are generally supposed to be kind of D&D. Im afraid I'll have to respectfully disagree with you on the vocal side. This singer can def sing, but doesn't stand out. Eric is phenomenal in his range and power. If you've seen any of his theatrical efforts (there are bootlegs of some of his broadway stuff) he is amazing. In honesty Manowar are Heavy metal, the grittier voice works well for many of their songs, only their lyrics and last album are power metal as such, But still this song rocks, and I appreciate ur point of view :)

The singer's OK, not every singer needs to sound classically trained. But to say this is better than anything Manowar has done is pretty silly.
I will say that after hearing Gods Of War, Manowar just might be in a slump (Silent Night, anyone?) while this right here sounds pretty fresh
