  • Actually, Jesus said pray in this " manner". Jesus didnt like repititious prayers. The our father was an example.

Pray for Catholics daily that they may recieve the Word of God and be freed from religious bondage.

My wife came out of the RCC!!! Praise God

  • dave hunt and cohorts, you who are without sin cast the first stone. I feel strongly that you sinned against the holy spirit by judging the catholic church in such a manner. May God have mercy upon me and upon you all on the day of judgement.

  • @yamoenefroeful Why would God judge people for judging a false system that He himself will judge to hell?

  • and as i watched more of this i realized that for someone who was brought up Catholic and went through 8 years of seminary, he really didn't understand at all the Church's teaching's on sacrifice and penance and...well it sounds like everything. Anybody who truly knows what the Church teaches could never just walk away from it like he did

  • @MaRtyDBB Richard Bennett came to the knowledge of the truth by the free gift of God by faith alone.

Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you. 1Peter 1:23-25

  • 1:40 - 2:02 explains a lot... It's just like Bishop Fulton Sheen said, "If you want your kids to defend their Faith send them to a public school, if you want them to lose their Faith send them to a Catholic School." it's a shame how many people don't truly understand what the one, true Faith teaches

  • Ive given up trying to help catholics become decent people,i just avoid them nowadays.

  • Who cares if this dude flatulated himself.

  • What does the sign of the cross do for you? Jesus said "out of your bellies shall flow rivers of living water" This phenomena doesn't happen while making the sign of the cross. It doesn't happen while praying to saints of the most high God. Why would you need to pray to anyone ,but Jesus? It happens when you repent and get right with God. When you're baptized in Jesus name for the remission of your sins. Then the most wonderful blessing of all the Holy Ghost! It's a promise from God Acts2:38

  • @soulsurcher Agreed we become directly in contact as well as become a lampstand and a vessel of GOD once again we get a new heart a nice soft one and we overflow with His grace as we shower those around us and serve them as Christ came here to serve Us.He washed His brothers feet to show this to us as well as we are friends and eaquals there are no men above a nother here.In Heaven we will be crowned not here here we are to be humble loving and compassionate.

  • thats so true we are to pray to god the father through jesus our lord not to any staues or to mary she was a servent for god

  • OK... This guy has a hidden agenda. 3.5 minutes in to this video he completely mis-characterizes Catholic theology. He says "one never has peace with God when you're doing rituals and trying to merit salvation". As a Catholic that is all I had to hear from him to know what he is doing. Sad. I pray that the scales drop from his eyes...At least he is no longer misleading Catholics from within the church.

  • @truthloverforever How wonderful you have faith and peace. Im sure he meant his own personality was unable to find peace "long term" understand it took him 25 years to understand. I for one wish He would have stayed within the church! The church needs men like him. How many people at church with you on sunday have your "faith and peace"? How many are there because of their Love of Christ? The answer is far too few...stop thinking about your own personal faith and wrap your mind on others.

  • @miltonthomasfleitas It not for us to judge the hearts of those that are at Holy Mass on Sunday. We are all sinners. The Church does not "need" men like him or you or me. The Church is fulfilling the mission of Jesus Christ as the bride of Christ. The Church stands for the fullness of truth in Jesus Christ and as such obligates us to accept the fullness of truth as it is revealed. Unfortunately, there are many who choose not to accept the full truth because it is hard and requires obedience.

  • Thanks but I think we Have the Lords Love already simpleton

  • The Catholics were the first christians, most of you can only trace you religion back to the Catholic Church.

And it says nothing about cold showers and suffering to save people !

  • @gregrutz The 12 apostles were not Catholics. The doctrines of the Catholic church didn't come from them. You can't find the Catholic church in the New Testament.

  • @ConfederateGypsy And there would not be christians if the Romans hadn't adopted the Catholic Church.

  • @gregrutz This is not true. The Gospel makes people Christians, not churches, no matter how much some of them may boast otherwise.

  • Religion: self-aggrandizing egosim for the ignorant.

Churches: shameful monuments to dark ages morality and persisiting psychological child abuse of children ("Believe or go to hell, kids!")

  • I am seeing demonstration of gods love in the english protestant world where your citizens are picking up their food from the garbage cans daily

  • you people have no love for Catholics or you would not try to convert them to your heretical sect.Leave Catholics alone! Just because you've been misled is no reason to mislead them.

  • Thank GOD for the truth, and thanks for sharing the video.

  • a) you cannot know this

    b) you should consider some facts

  • I wonder how god feels when all his fan-clubs throw sticks and stones at each other like this. And I wonder why god lets all his followers fight amongst themselves. I mean, I think we can agree that, even if "x" church is wrong, the believers THINK they're right, and they HONESTLY want to please the same god you do. If somebody is trying to please god, and they are doing it wrong on accident, would god save them because of their will to find him? Or, would he nail them on that technicality?

  • God looks on the heart, not the outer appearance. He judges individuals not institutions. Everyone will stand or fall based on their relationship to Christ. He alone has the keys to salvation; he alone has the power to forgive sin; He alone is The Resurrection & The Life; He alone died for our sins. Faith is the only way to please God. If we do not have the Truth we do not know the Truth. Jesus is Truth. Reject Jesus & you reject salvation. Damnation is the reward of every sinner w/o Jesus!

  • @Sojoboro -James 5:19,20 "Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins."

  • I can't tell you how many times I have been told that the RCC has killed millions only to go to the library and local book store and millions turn into thousands. You turn a few pages and non-Catholics have killed thousands too. For those that do give sources, all I get are books or web sites from non-Catholics with an axe to grind. Please use secular histories for me to take you seriously- other than that you are being a false witness. Please ONE real historian. Not the Berean Beacon.

  • Superb. May this ministry experience even more blessings.

  • how would u like it if somebody burned your house with your family in it hmmm.

  • perhaps you would like visit hell and burn there instead.

  • The birth, life, death, resurrection, ascension and heavenly work of Christ was prophecised in the Old Testament and fulfilled before living witnesses. "The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever." Isaiah 40:8.

  • Cockroaches and Cyanobacteria shall stand forever.

  • I love this man. He loves the Word, praise the Lord. Thanks for the post. John 10:35"the scripture cannot be broken." amen

  • @TruthLifeWayJesus the scripture that says the eath is a circle?

  • Jesus Said how we were to pray and that was unto the Father as he did as well.

  • Jesus taught us to pray to Him.

He taught us to pray to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit.

Intercessory prayer is prayer to Christ. Is it a sin to ask a friend or Pastor to pray for you? No, of course not.The Saints pray to Christ for us. It is the Incence before the Throne in book of revelations and Isaiah. BTW man Gnosticism is a HERESY condemned by Holy Synod of Christ's Church..the Orthodox Church. If you believe in the Bible..you believe in Holy Synod of the Orthodox Church.

  • I remember only one way and he said this is how we should pray. Our Father who is in Heaven holy is thy name thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth at it is in Heaven.Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our brothers lead us not into temptation and deliver us from evil Amen.Show me where in the bible it says Pray to saints or to statues. That is what I was saying. He told us exactly how to do it and that is how I will I obey with my heart. He is the only way.

  • @korzon We don't pray to statues ding dong. we ask those in heaven for their prayers. Do you deny that there are people in heaven? Then you just as well hang up your Christianity. Those in heaven are members of the body of Christ (rom 12) not separated from his love (Rom 8). Therefore as members of the body they can pray for us and we can ask thier prayers.

  • @imromancatholic Umm my friends mother was taught to pray to saints we are not to pray to anybody but GOD thats it Christ is the mediator He is the way the only way.You go pray to dead men I will pray to the one who is alive and always shall be as we were instructed.I have nothing against the saints and martyrs but as Christ said the dead know nothing untill the dead in Christ rise they are sleeping they cant here you,But Christ can and why go to the middle man when you can go to the boss?

  • @korzon

Christ did not say the dead know nothing. That is an old testament passage that applies to those who were in the abode of the dead, not those whose souls are with Christ. It would seem very strange that the dead know nothing if Jesus said to the Apostles that they shall sit on thrones judging the 12 tribes. How could they do this if they knew nothing? It is said there is great joy over 1 repentent sinner in heaven. How can there be such joy if they know nothing?

  • @korzon - It also seems funny that Protestants have the saints in heaven doing less than those on earth when the scriptures say "Eye has not seen nor ear heard what God has ready for those who love him". Seems you miss the point of the parable of the talents:

[21] His master said to him, `Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a little, I will set you over much; enter into the joy of your master.'

  • @imromancatholic Christ is the Word of GOD in the the Old and New Testement He was there at the Foundation of the World. As for the dead I have no knowlege what happens GOD has said they sleep and Also in the resurrection of men the Dead in Christ Rise I am not sure of how death and hell was in the old possibly a Good man went to heaven right away apon death and GOD showed mercy on them.GOD does what he wills but why be brought back down to retrieve a body to rise later if already in heaven?

  • @korzon

Those in heaven are dead? 1.[37] But that the dead are raised, even Moses showed, in the passage about the bush, where he calls the Lord the God of Abraham and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob.

2.[38] Now he is not God of the dead, but of the living; for all live to him."

    THe saints in heaven live!

  • @imromancatholic Realy then why on the last day do the dead in Christ rise if they are already in heaven?

  • @imromancatholic I undertand that but why then do the dead in Christ rise first then those who are alive shall be caught up?Perhaps like Enoch GOD made accpetions in some cases he never saw death annd where is he now?And Abraham died and GOD took him too heaven and maybe men went straight to hell if they were wicked.Jesus died on the cross and Christ rose and came back to his body so yes I can understand a few things there. But he has made many refrences to death as sleeping just as well.

  • @korzon The passage about being caught up that you are speaking of is with regard to the second coming. It is in 1 thessalonians 4 v. 17 I believe. It speaks of those on earth at the time that Christ comes again. Those in the grave will also arise and their body and soul will be united. Our bodies sleep but our souls do not for the scriptures say that Paul (and we) long to be absent from the body and present with the Lord. This is a clear indication that the soul does not sleep.

  • @korzon Another passage that shows that soul sleep is a false doctrine is the story of Abraham and Lazarus. Also when Christ dies the souls of those held in the abode of the dead are resurrected and thy appear throughout Jerusalem. There were a few exceptions in the Old Testament regarding men going to heaven. That is true. The gates of heaven were opened however when Christ died and these are no longer exceptions but the rule. Again in the last days body and soul will be reunited.

  • @korzon - Why does it have to be either Christ or the saints? I don't ignore prayer to Christ by any means. And yet in that same passage that says Christ is the mediator (1 Tim 2:5) the first for verses say it is good for us to pray for others. Paul says elsewhere it is good to ask the prayers of others. Do you ask people to pray for you. Gee in that time it takes to explain your situation and ask prayers you could pray directly to Christ.

  • @korzon In revelations we see the interaction of those in heaven with our prayers.

    Rev.8

    1.[3] And another angel came and stood at the altar with a golden censer; and he was given much incense to mingle with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar before the throne;

2.[4] and the smoke of the incense rose with the prayers of the saints from the hand of the angel before God. Do you understand. Those in heaven mix their prayers with ours. We can ask those prayers.

  • @korzon See you don't know your bible very well. All you have is some pre-conceived notions and protestant traditions about what you think the bible says.

  • @korzon - By the way can you show me that passage in the Bible that says don't ask those in heaven to pray for you before the throne of God?

  • I would encourage all those who seek biblical faith to be careful of the version of the bible they read. The King James Bibles is the least tampered with - by Jesuits - due to the extraordinary measures taken by King James I when he commissioned the translation.

  • thanks for posting brother, basicly everythign i know about the catholic church i learned through Pastor Richard

  • @tobigforyou Well then you don't know much and what you do know is distorted.

  • thanks brother for uploading another of brother Bennets videos
