I have an idea where you can make a ball with that shape. When you cut out the shapes from the foam. Cut the top and bottom tips off, and then glue the ends together with the first two pieces and then do the same with the others as yoyu glue them side by to create a ball. I've never tried that before but I will try that and see if it works.
I think if the foam cut outs had more width and a little less length you'd have gotten a rounder end product.
