With so many shows that normal companies like Funimation dub, a lot of times when a voice actor is asked a question about the show they say something like "I had never heard anything about it" Or something like that. A lot of people don't know anything about the shows, except for maybe the director.

And yeah, 4Kids could do better, but it worked for me when I was a kid. But I'm not a kid anymore, so I don't watch it. Because it's for kids.

Actuelly. Super Sonic was made Gold out of the creators choice, though the creator was a huge fan of DBZ so he might of gotten inspired out of it. In Sonic 3 + Sonic+Knuckles they made Sonic have green eyes just like a super sayian for his contribution to the east making him look like a Super Sayian more than his original idea, then finally the west contribution being the 'Death Egg' which is a giant ship which resembles the Death Star out of Star Wars. Two of the biggest hits from east and west

actually, i'd agree with the chaos emeralds, but one thing is that super form isn't from dbz, it came out BEFORE dbz gave the super form, so it's like one copied something, the other copied another thing

still, the difference is that they need lots o rings for super form/chaos emeralds for super form, but on the other hand, dbz just needs LOTS o energy to change forms AND dbz has more than just super form, it has ss1, ss2, ss3, and ss4 (king kong needed) so it's pretty much even at that..k? k!

Dragonball was a manga way before it was a tv series, where the super saiyan stuff appeared. and besides which, dragonball as an anime series was out in 1989 in japan (where sonic is from). Sonic is very very very much after it with the super sonic stuff in 1992. And no, Dragonball does not need a new cartoon. It never needed the old cartoon. Go read the manga if you enjoy the series my friend, youll find the plot a lot more sensical with less grunting and filler.
