Yes she did. There's a difference in Karen and Neicy's soprano. Neicy's is not that strong. hers is more airy. That is Karen, but neicy did do the "of the brave" part.

@imhappywithmyself I get tired of people like u always comparing the clark sisters voices especially jacky's voice. Jacky along with the rest of the sisters all have different and unique voice. None of the sisters sing better than each other because one they all had the same training and two they all have different types of voice and different range. So what that Jacky doesn't sing like tct dcc or kcs, she has her own voice and perfected her craft just like the rest of them. i aint through yet.

It wasn't included on the remastered cd because Sound of Gospel claimed not to have enough space to include it on the cd. I personally think that's ripping off the consumers because they're thinking they're getting the entire album that's out-of-print and now transferred to cd only to find out songs a missing due to space limitation. I hope Sound of Gospel does better with their inclusion of songs but also provide better sound quality on some of those transfers they redistribute.

Sound of Gospel should be ashamed. And that tacky product "You Brought The Sunshine" CD sound quality stinks. Sounds like it was recorded of off a bad tape deck. Not to mention on Mattie Moss's "Crucified With Christ" the song "Remember Me" is like 3 seconds then BAM! I'm like what in the world?

You are so right, the sound is horrible. You would think that if they were going to redistrbute the album, they would at least enhance the sound so that it's alot cleaner. Hate to say, but when purchasing a cd from Sound of Gospel (one that they transferred from lp/master tape to cd), you never know what you're going to get. Some of the recordings transferred are good, while others aren't.

Thanks for the reply. I had that Christmas album in which the vocals could have been mixed better too. I hate to say, but on a couple of songs, they sound like cats...and SOG could have done much much better. That album "Christ Won't Fail" is terrible product, but awesome material on it. SOunds like it was recorded in somebody's garage with a boom box.

their former producer Armen Boladian is to blame for all of that. that's the man george clinton wanted to kill because of a similar situation about rights to his own music during the funkadelic period. in an interview, the clark sisters said that they were silent music wise from 1983 to 1986 because they were in a hefty legal dispute with sound of gospel and westbound records over the inter-label distribution and sales of "you brought the sunshine" or something like that.

Get it Twink. If I were to sing the Star Spangled Banner at a game I would sing it just like this with some soul. Denise and Twinkie sound great and so does Karen all of them are great. I have to get this album.
