Ducks arent physical like they used to be. They were unstoppable in the 06-07 season. What happened :(

They traded out all of their bigger, more physical players. Niedermayer and Pronger, the cornerstones of the defense, are no longer on the team. Beauchemin got traded and Parros was injured for awhile but he seems to have picked up where he left off. When Hiller plays good he's as adequate as Giguere. The Ducks aren't THAT bad right now. They've got two really good offensive lines, just as good as anyone else in the league in that department. They've got a great coach as well.

Actually Beauchemin got traded back to Anaheim. Completely forgot about that. But the main thing in my opinion for Anaheim not being as successful is

1) Not as phyiscal on an overall team level

2) Lack of Niedermayer + Pronger
