I watched this video and a billion of other ones, and I couldn't notice the mess-up untill I looked it up and had it explained. If you were singing this song, you would be nervous too! She did a great job covering it up, and NO ONE should hate on her for a mistake.

Oh my god that SUCKED! I hate when people try to make the anthem their "own song" by tweaking it up. She's no longer a teen pop sensation. Why are we having her do this? B.E.P. or Usher would have been a better option to sing.

she has a very nice voice and I am a big fan but this wasn't her best work. One thing professionals do with songs that they sing, that aren't theirs, is that they change it to make it more of their style and our National Anthem isn't a song that should be sung in her style. Mess up or not, she'd sound alot better if she sang it in the traditional way.

@Kaisaru shes getting paid millions to sing a simple song, and she couldnt do it. theres nothing brave about it. , i would have done it, and im not the best singer, but i would have sung it a hell of a lot better. all the unnecessary crescendos and all she put on the song even before the mess up was horrendous. we wanted a patriotic rendition of the national anthem, not a pop/soul rendition.
