i have the amd too !!

the best thing about mine is that it has a built - in memory controller.

intel recently launched it's own version called th core i7.

the only problem is that my laptop gets hot pretty fast.

i7 is better in general, but gaming AMD is very good for it, for high resolutions for an accessive price. Intel Core i7 consumes more, is more heat and for gaming Phenom II FTW.

Clock for clock Intel might be better, but that's not anything that needs to be into consideration. Price and Performance, AMD comes out on top by far.
