Saw this movie last night. And yes, it is very, very intense. If you don't have a preference for movies without happy endings, I wouldn't recommend this. Either way, it's an excellent movie.

This is one of those few movies with en ensemble which is truly an all star cast working to the best of their powers namely because actors like this one were not that well known at the time they were working on this film and took advantage of their opportunity at fame. In this movie are enough twists and turns to make this story very interesting and intriguing without being over-complicated. The characters are well-played, especially the main ones. For me it was the most amazing film this year.. But I am sure 'daving info' is going to bring the new best one soon!!!

My Cousin was in Afghanistan in the middle of nowhere, this is real by the way, and he told me this story: 4 days into the US forces, he got bullied by 1 of the soldiers, he had loads of porn mags and stuff and 6 days later, in the middle of the night, he heard

It's no so bad...the acting and the script are really bad, but the settings in Morocco are beautiful. You can also add some innovative ideas for the sci-fi genre...but i think the real problem is the terrible script....

wow i see alot of ppl have diff view but for me, watching it i computed CIA seeking ?? intelligence perhaps? many masionic symbos (in the cave and the end scene when he becomes 'illuminated'). Dude had an uplink because the cia probably wasn't expecting to survive but he may have been 'chosen' as he mentioned that he felt 'lead' by whatever those beings are. I believe they were demons and either lucifer or whatever illuminated him who knows.. he's floating in the end could be the 'fake' jesus

My Cousin was in Afghanistan in the middle of nowhere, this is real by the way, and he told me this story: 4 days into the US forces, he got bullied by 1 of the soldiers, he had loads of porn mags and stuff and 6 days later, in the middle of the night, he heard
"What the FUCK!'' and then there was silence, then in the morning, they found his body outside the tent, he hadn't been shot at all. But there was stripes of blue and red on the top of his arms, and there was blood coming from his eyes.

well i watched this film and it left a lot of holes to wonder what the hell what that about? and now knowing the director from the Blair Wtch project directed this film, i say is not supposed to all fit, sorta like many legends piled into one objective(obscured) and then see what happens in the end....

Horrible horrible movie! What a waste... Has it occurred to no one that the little ancient bronze "airplane" everyone chatters about as proof is just a stylized fish? It's tail is clearly visible as are its eyes and other fins... guess no one has ever seen a fish like a Koi from above? No, it has to be a 5000 year old alien conspiracy! And I had to be dumb enough to sit through a movie about it ! LOLZ

It's no so bad...the acting and the script are really bad, but the settings in Morocco are beautiful. You can also add some innovative ideas for the sci-fi genre...but i think the real problem is the terrible script....

Attention spoiler!!! film pas à propos d'Afghanistan. Pas certain à propos d'ET non plus (dépend de vos croyances). D'après mon expérience = à propos d'expériences induites par l'ouverture du 3e œil (glande pinéale), là où "l'être" touche l'agent du CIA à la fin. Ce qu'il lui montre (images qui défilent) ce sont ce qu'on peut appeler : Saint-Graal ou pierre philosophale. Si vous avez déjà expérimenté du L* du M* (5 gr et +) vous savez de quoi je parle;)

Stupid movie. The man taking the role as an Afghan was talking in some language that wasn't even what they speak in Afghanistan. Wow, what bullshit, didn't the twat think someone would notice that when making the movie? The movie made no fucking sense at all, and don't give me this bullshit about it having a message.
