If you like this one by Charlie, check out one of his earliest hits that someway was mostly forgotten over time. "Just A Little Bit Sweet" It is even hard to get to on here. You have to put the title then / charlie rich. If you haven't heard it , it is worth it.

I love this man's suave, smooth sound. My dad always put Charlie's records on and danced with my mom every Sunday morning. Charlie was the alarm for everyone to wake up and come to breakfast. I love Sunday's especially when I can listen to something that soothes my soul and warms my heart with someone I love.

I can't tell you enough how many times I played this song on the radio during my career as a dj. It still moves move today as much as it did when it first appeared. Another great song was his version of the old Lenny Welch hit, "Since I fell For You." Bothe were not big hits for Charlie, but they were both damn good songs. Thus the genius of the Silver Fox. Thanks for the musical memories.
