People should have the right to bear arms, but, it should only be the "responsible people" who have that right. People should lose that right if they prove they cant handle it. And yes, some of the Jews did choose to not leave, but others couldnt help it. They couldnt pack up their entire familes, and their entire lives and aquire passports and leave. Besides, back then would probably have sounded today like "the aliens are invading, we need to leave now" would you have believed that? Unlikely.

You are only using the same scare tactics as the other side you are vilifying. New Orleans was in a bad spot after Katrina. There was already a problem with people in the streets with guns. This was a direct response to the existing problem, not one the police were creating.

First of all were you there? Secondly I do not have a problem with police, I do however believe that the constitution should be upheld at all times including our 2nd amendment right to bear arms regardless of the "problems" that exist. I would perfer to be pro-active in the defense of my family and my home instead of huddling in a corner waiting for the police to save me from the "bad" people on the street with guns. I have family members and friends that r police officers they r the people 2!
