@PVcat1 I'm sure they beat Kansas that year. Something like 26-22. Kansas was 2-9 that year. Must be Missouri as their other loss? I'm a KU fan.

@huskyjerk You are correct. Their record was 5-5 and we lost to Missouri and Arizona State. I looked it up on Wikepedia after my last message. You must be about my age to be interested in that era. I'm from Concordia, Ks, played h.s. sports and went to K-State from '68-'72. I was a Beta Theta Pi at Kansas State.

@huskyjerk Can't believe I am being this friendly with a jayhawk! lol I live in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fl and used to be a banker in KC. I am going up for the OU game in late October. Hope they are no. 1. Where did you grow up? Why would you watch OU-K-State highlights from 42 years ago?

@PVcat1 I grew up in Lawrence. I am just a sports fan of most stuff old and nostalgic. I thought it was amazing that OU could lose so badly that I just had to watch this, and see what happened. You don't have to be a fan of the teams to want to watch stuff. It's just good stuff to watch, that;s all.

I did a search for Lynn Dickey/ex Packers QB kind of as a joke. I never thought i'd see clips of him in COLLEGE! I'm expecting a clip from 1984 or something. Great vids!
