this is awesome...we been trying to come up with a design using a burning bin...couldnt incoporate a stove top tho..and yours is way more compact...thanx
You have you opening for the wood too high . I had mine the same if you add about three inches to the top of the opening the smoke will stay in better and you don`t have to keep your dampener open too much. it will also burn slower and get a more efficient stove . Try to put some tin foil across the opening and see what I am saying. That`s how I found out how to improve the stove. .After I added the extra 3 inches it worked super. Thanks for sharing your cool video.
excellent job looks awesome , have you any plans for heating water, say enough for a bath . im guessing theres still a lot of heat on the top of ur unit . again superb looking job .
hi does the oven get an even heat distribution with the fire on one side also can you say what temperature the oven reaches. I like the design I have a different idea for the oven but I think my design would suffer from too much heat but I will build my design just to see. would love to hear your findings on your design.
hi dodger, i'm going to make one like yours , i was gonna make just a stove but now decided to have oven too . i was wondering when you joined thme together did you cut a piece out of the side of the woodburner and weld the bottles together or cut a piece out of the oven side , or didn't cut a piece out of either and just welded a piece of flat on the front and back to fix them together/
Hey, great stove .... love the design. Can you tell us as its a little difficult to see inside, is there a deflector plate or baffle inside for the smoke? Thanks for posting.
hi mate its got a swivel plate in the back of the flue you can see me close it when all the smoke comes out the door of the fire. i hope this helps you thanks for lookin
most impressive ive seen on youtube
