The difference is choice. The choice of the mother to end the life of her developing child is different than if is forced upon her. When the choice is made for her or she has no choice in the matter then the person has exerted their liberties over another individual and should be punished accordingly. Sadly it is true that in a way a woman must exert her liberties over her developing child's, but ultimately because the child will need her calcium/nutrients it is her decision.
Usually, when it comes to Abortion, isn't it BOTH or the Parents of this fetus's choice? But at the same time, I get where this guy is saying, is that NO one deserves to die like this. But it's choice. You cannot change their opinion, only the person that made this dilemma.

Also the Supreme court decision is lazy and dangerous. It said it can make no decision so it left the choice up to the woman. First this solution begs the question of the abortion debate. Second it is very cavalier in that it says we don't know it's alive.. go 'head and kill it. Third there is no privacy clause in the constitution, there is of property and freedom from searches, which is not the same thing. And finally by the Supreme court saying it can't decide, means it should be a state issue
Saying a man can't have an opinion on abortion is a logical fallacy. The validity of an argument has nothing do do with having a uterus. Also if a woman's right to exists at 3 weeks, then it also exists at 9 months. If there is a difference, than the right never really existed in the first place. Most of the pro-choice comments i've read on this thread bring up unusual circumstances and say, "Is abortion still wrong now?" They see these bad circumstances and have compassion on the mothers and therefore think she should be able to abort. But they fail to see that the circumstances surrounding the abortion does not change what it is or does. In these extreme circumstances, we need even more compassion for mother AND child - not forget the child because the situation is now "bad enough".
The reason people bring up certain circumstances is to outline the inconsistencies that follow from the very back that the circumstances surrounding the abortion does not change what it is. I agree that it doesn't, but if a person says they think rape victims, for example, should be allowed to abort, nothing has changed with the z/e/f itself, thus it becomes apparent that they are being either inconsistent, or they value z/e/fs in certain circumstances over others.

I think it is kind of funny that most people that they interviewed a woman about getting an abortion. They found out later in the interview that she was a vegetarian. She said it was wrong to kill an animal that has no way of defending itself and how it never had a chance of living a fulfilling life. Isn't that what abortion is killing a child with no defense that never had a chance at a fulfilling life. But instead of an animal its your own baby.

The difference is choice. The choice of the mother to end the life of her developing child is different than if is forced upon her. When the choice is made for her or she has no choice in the matter then the person has exerted their liberties over another individual and should be punished accordingly. Sadly it is true that in a way a woman must exert her liberties over her developing child's, but ultimately because the child will need her calcium/nutrients it is her decision.

Also the Supreme court decision is lazy and dangerous. It said it can make no decision so it left the choice up to the woman. First this solution begs the question of the abortion debate. Second it is very cavalier in that it says we don't know it's alive.. go 'head and kill it. Third there is no privacy clause in the constitution, there is of property and freedom from searches, which is not the same thing. And finally by the Supreme court saying it can't decide, means it should be a state issue

Also if a woman's right to exists at 3 weeks, then it also exists at 9 months. If there is a difference, than the right never really existed in the first place. I find it strange that the guy in the video is relying on a law which may or may not be used to charge the man (he ultimately was never charged with ANY crime, not even assault of the woman) to make his point that a 13-week-old fetus is a person. If a CA law, which may be poorly written and easily revoked, says killing a fetus w/o the mother's consent is murder, that automatically makes it true, and yet he scoffs at the Supreme Court's reasoning in Roe v Wade! Most of the pro-choice comments i've read on this thread bring up unusual circumstances and say, "Is abortion still wrong now?" They see these bad circumstances and have compassion on the mothers and therefore think she should be able to abort. But they fail to see that the circumstances surrounding the abortion does not change what it is or does. In these extreme circumstances, we need even more compassion for mother AND child - not forget the child because the situation is now "bad enough".

The reason people bring up certain circumstances is to outline the inconsistencies that follow from the very back that the circumstances surrounding the abortion does not change what it is. I agree that it doesn't, but if a person says they think rape victims, for example, should be allowed to abort, nothing has changed with the z/e/f itself, thus it becomes apparent that they are being either inconsistent, or they value z/e/fs in certain circumstances over others.

Do your parents own you? Do they pack you in a suitcase whenever they feel like doing? I think it is kind of funny that most people that they interviewed a woman about getting an abortion. They found out later in the interview that she was a vegetarian. She said it was wrong to kill an animal that has no way of defending itself and how it never had a chance of living a fulfilling life. Isn't that what abortion is killing a child with no defense that never had a chance at a fulfilling life. But instead of an animal its your own baby.

You chose to withhold information pertaining to your decision which is fault to you not me in my assumption, given the statistics and data we presently have. My friend has friends who are nurses, and they said about when they were assisting with a "hysteronomy", they removed the undeveloped child, and it was crying and suffering. and it was set aside and left to die.

@chrisfour4444 The "fetus" word can have its roots in the Latin, French, Italian or Spanish languages but in modern English and as a medical term it means that is an underdeveloped human inside a womans womb and that is not still considered a person therefore it cant have any rights. In an abortion procedure no person is being murdered is just that development of the fetus is interrupted.
