However, they could have fathers who were blood Jews but, in ancient times, Jewish women made Jews NOT Jewish men. It tells us nothing about her mother or whether that mother descended from a Moabite or, Hebrew tribe or, some other matilineal line, e.g. the Ammonites who's women were recognized under Jewish law as authentic (probably because they were originally Hyksos, like Moses).
