  • Lol. Useless but epic. :3

  • how about playing a real motherfucking guitar..yeah i played 3 times this game and it doesn't compare to the real guitar...i think it's for noobs wanna be rockers or metalheads..dorks

  • just a wast of time

  • STAR POWER!!

  • GAY!!

  • Dude you have the same carpet and chair as me.... Freaky but cool mod man

  • unlike all these other jr. high girls, i admire the talent and work you put into your mod. i also love circuitry and modifying anything i own to make it a work of art. kudos!

  • i did a simmilar thing on my world tour guitar and i hooked the leds to the buttons

  • cool

  • u tell em i think its cool

  • Ok to clarify with anyone who thinks I've wasted time or money . . . First off, the parts i used in this circuit were scavenged and taken from old electronics and boards (so it didn't cost anything for me to make) and as for it being a waste of time . . . if circuitry and tinkering is my hobby, making this was not a waste of time, but a fun project for me to do. I put it in a guitar hero controller for kicks. It was fun to make and it was super cheap (except for the game itself . . .)

  • this is kinda lame...

    ive seen better

    ALTHOUGH!

why do people waste there time and effort with guitar hero.

its supposed to be a fun stupid game

not anything to do with REAL guitar...

ive seen videos where people add PICK GUARDS

    HAHAHAHHA

  • lol all of you w/ your negative comments you wouldnt know how to do somethin like that throughout your whole life, building a board like that takes fuckin skill, and btw stuff like that wouldnt cost you over 5 bucks

  • stupid !

  • I <3 seeing people wasting there money on a mod that has no point. :D (It's GREAT!)

  • gay!

  • stupid.!

    lame..!

  • Make those lights lazerz and that controller won't be shit anymore

  • sweetness i wish my gits were like that

  • sick!

  • that was a waste of my time and the gayest mod ever

  • Dude, what a waste of time Congrats!

  • I love people that do this!!!!!!!!!! though i see no REAL use for it :[

  • @sontre555 what do you mean? it was probably pretty fun to make and cool to have, besides does any guitar hero guitar have any REAL use besides playing the game? (which is what he probably uses this for but with a little effect and creativity)

  • cool but it would distract me probably

  • ah i could probaly do that might be a little gard for my skill level though

  • ooohhh its usefull

  • Some people are just geniouses like this. I just don't get it.

  • i also have the spade in the exact same place

  • how did u power it with the usb?

  • usb provides 5 volts

  • Any why isn't 5 volts good enough to run led's?

  • i did not say that i sayed that usb runs off 5 volts

  • it cool but u put on the worst of all the guitars and also you just did the top part you shoud have put around/ over the actual colours and stuff.

  • where could i find the lights ?

  • probably at your local radioshack

  • how the hell did they do that

  • I have the spade in the exact same spot on my controller lol

  • Well its in a good Spot.

  • nice job lol

  • nice!

  • Sick!

  • gangstarific

  • Well unfortunately i havn't had the time or money to get the parts i want, what i plan on doing is getting a EEPROM chip and programming it so that when no frets are pressed its cycles as show in the video. but Rather than having 6 red LEDs its get 1 of each fret colour plus a white one (for the strum bar) so when you push on a fret the matching LED will light up and stop the cycle and the white LED will flash when you strum. I'll used pressure pushbuttons to do this (no clicking sounds)

  • Is there a way to do that, but make it light up when you press a fret?

  • yes there is a way to make the frets light up

  • simple but VERY cool. nice job man

  • Opinions are like assholes sir, everyone has one. Gay to you? Maybe you should try it before you rag on it.

  • very good but it'll be wicked if you could like program it to act differently with each button combonatoin

  • I used the PS2's USB port to power my custom made circuit which uses 3 "2n4401" transistors, 3 "100uF" electrolytic caps, 6 standard red LEDs (3 pairs), a single pole switch, and a few resistors (3x100K ohm, 1x470 ohm) and that's pretty much it, you have to know basic circuitry to understand the astable multivibrator circuit I used to make this

  • Guy, that`s pretty nice. How did you do that? I am a noob at this stuff but i guess you added some sort of batery in there and wired it the lights you added too?

  • yo can you tell me what you hooked up the led's too and what you did.. i wanna do something similiar but i don't know what power source to tap into

  • nice! how the heck did you do that?
