Where did the time go, It was 8 pm when I started watching, it's now ten after 3 am Eastern Time....I loved watching this documentary. Our Canadian Government beeter take a good look at every protester and start realizing we are all very much like Marc Emery! We love our country and were not leaving!! Harper has got to go!! Well, that was THE best documentary i've ever seen. There is too much for me to say in one simple Youtube comment, so i'll simply say that Marc is the modern day freedom fighter, like King, or Ghandi (Or in some ways Jesus if you belive in that sort of thing). He is totaly right about the governments job being to profect the freedom of the people, the US DEA have totaly gone against the whole point of America; 'Justice for all'!

excellent presentation, being a pot consumer for most of my life you think I would've known more about this guy (and I'm Canadian) =D. Can't help but think with the Christ story there could be a third option, one that would prove the evolution of our species, one that made Emery free and safe but still change the system over to the people and self governance of some sort. That's whats supposed to happen - A new form of self-governing government or anarchy lol

There have been requests that it be put on a DVD. You probably will be able to pick one up from Marc Emery's store in the coming weeks (he sells online, as well as in-store, at cannabisculture[dot]com ). I doubt it will be made commercially available though. But, heck: feel free to nominate the movie...who knows?

@PaulMcKeever Wow, what a great documentary. You know you did a good job when both the pro and anti- Emery crowd pat you on the back. I am an American supporter of Emery, and you did a wonderful job painting a protrait of the movement and Emery warts and all. Great documentary.

@JJZeise I hope you learnt from this that not all pot smokers are 'hippies'. Marc is clearly a smart man just like most other tokers. The ones you here about are the RnB singers, and thugs on the streets. Infact this isn't even about pot, its about the freedom that doesn't exsist, and the unjust laws that are still in place today.

I enjoyed it too though so respect to you brother :-)

Great movie Paul, I really enjoyed it in its entirety even though I knew nothing about Marc Emery prior to this. You make a very good argument why my country has no right to have your government simply do its bidding. Also thank you for taking the time to show the philosophical changes Mr. Emery has made over the last 20 years. While it may be lost on some people, it is a great concrete example of the dangers of pragmatism in all walks of life, especially the political realm.
