I have a question about cartridges and styli, which would you recommend for a bedroom DJ playing Hardtrance, Hardstyle, Hardcore .. and a little bit of house too :)
I've seen pricing from like $20 to $200 ..
I dont want to spend a fortune :S
Also .. Depending on the cartridge, do I need to buy a special head shell ?
Try the Ortofon's.. There's several different prices and quality ranges... They have the headshell and needles all in one usually. So normally only one thing to buy.

Netsniper, you are correct. However I also aim to see more good DJ's, one's who are better than average and trained right. Any Joe Schmoe can learn to DJ, but doing it right and doing it well are a whole different scenario. Good luck to you, I hope some of my advice helps ya!
Man you are so right.I got to tell you that I just searched those websites that you said and I compared them with some others that I used to use.I'll give you only an example:I found in one of the sites that you mentioned the DENON DNX1500 which is a great mixer(personal opinion)for 800$ while in a site that I used its price is 1100$.I'm just giving an example.You know what you're talking about.Btw sorry for my English.

Ive gotta get a summer job then im buying a cdj800 package.
Ill try and learn correctly. But ill most likely be teaching myself and relying on videos like yours and others to learn.
